Along Again (12/1 bet365) is bound to be popular with Ryan Moore on board and finished off last season with an impressive third place finish in the Princess Margaret stakes and should have a shout here. 

Blockade (18/1 SkyBet) was second in the Rockfel which is normally a strong race, however the worry is that a very long and hard 2yo season may have taken it's toll.

Majeyda (12/1 bet365) is the pick of the Godolphin runners after winning the Montrose Stakes but second string Folk Melody (7/1 William Hill) should improve nicely after winning what looks a good maiden here last year.  Pelerin (16/1 William Hill) is another touted to improve on maiden form.

The market is headed by three Qatari owned runners; Queen Catrine (7/1 SkyBet), Wind Fire (14/1 William Hill) and Sandiva (3/1 SkyBet) with the first named runner the pick of the three after her third in the Marcel Boussac finishing ahead of Sandiva and Majeyda.

DOROTHY B (6/1 SkyBet) finished fifth in the Middle Park stakes last season and boasts some impressive form which should not be underestimated.  With the form line of a couple of her rivals entwining and, with question marks surrounding most of the field, John Gosden could well claim yet another early season prize.

Fastnet Rock is rapidly rising as a sire to watch out for and his progeny DOROTHY B has shown the form to be good enough to win this contest after an impressive fifth place finish in the Middle Park.  The form of the horses who finished ahead of her looks strong and she should have every chance here if she has wintered well.  Folk Melody may be one for the future as she looks the type to improve for greater experience.
