Borussia Dortmund v Arsenal Betting Tips and Predictions

The first round UEFA Champions League matches kicks off the week. Arsenal begin with a tough trip away to Dortmund and we have some free football betting tips.

Arsenal and Dorrmund are familiar faces to each other having played each other four times since 2011 with the Gunners winning two, drawing one and Dortmund having a single triumph.

Furthermore, the injury to right back Debuchy means Chambers will have to deputise at right back. The youngster has been impressive when called upon but having to start him at right back in a tough Champions League away match is far from ideal.

Arsenal meanwhile gave away the equaliser on Saturday to a Martin Demichelis' header from a corner. That header was the fourth time already this season that Arsenal have conceded from a set piece. Goals conceded from set pieces account for 66% of goals against the Gunners this year.

With this in mind centre back Sokratis looks like a great punt. He's a constant set piece threat, he's already scored once this season and is available at 12/1 with bet365. As Ray Winstone would say “git one it!”
