Borussia Dortmund v Bayern Munich prediction and betting tips for the Bundesliga match on Saturday 23rd November 2013. Free football tips and match prediction for Dortmund v Munich.

Wembley, May 2013, an all German Champions League Final in the capital of England. The stadium was ignited by strong and vibrant colours, reds from Munich, Bavaria at one half, and yellows from the Northern Rhine region in the opposing half, were both witnessing a tight encounter. In the 88th minute, Arjen Robben was slipped through into the Dortmund penalty area, controlling the ball with tight precision, the Dutch star slides the ball past the on rushing and startled keeper. Bayern were crowned champions of Europe.

This Saturday will see these two German giants battle it out again in the German Bundersliga late kick off, and is most certainly going to produce a close and entertaining experience, with both teams going into the match, under pressure and with the same objectives.

Bayern Munich will have the chance to make history again with the possibility of increasing their unbeaten run to thirty-eight games. Last time out against Augsburg in round 11, Bayern Munich came out with a straight 3-0 victory and a fine performance that cements the red team from Bavaria in 1st position in the League. Also, after that win, Guardiola’s men made history by beating Hamburg’s thirty six game unbeaten streak, set back in January 1982 and 1983. Munich’s confidence will also be increased further, after Dortmund stumbled last time out in round 11 away to Wolfsburg, whom only just found form in their most recent games.

Before the match against Wolfsburg, Jurgen Klopp and the yellow army did pick up three straight wins, but this still leaves the Champions League finalists four points behind the unstoppable red outfit. Dortmund will also be looking to get back on the correct path, a win on the weekend will narrow the gap and build up confidence going into their make or break tie in the Champions League in the following week. A win here for Klopp would surely turn things around for Dortmund too.

However, with Bayern’s current form, both in the Bundersliga and in Europe, I can only see Guardiola’s invincible’s performing the better. The Westfalenstadion is a hostile ground, with a fan base breaching the 85,000 mark waving their scarfs and chanting their team throughout the ninety minutes. But, Arsenal have already silenced the stadium in the Champions League, and Hamburg most recently, shuddered the noise, even though it was only for a temporary basis.

In the last three meetings between these giants, eleven goals have been scored, and this trend is most likely to follow. Both teams need to a victory, Dortmund need three points to keep up the title race and boost morale. If Bayern win, surely the title could be potentially sealed, if this unstoppable form continues. The match will surely set off fireworks and be the main game to watch over all the European leagues over the coming weekend, and one that Bayern may just make good use of.
