The Scottish football fixture list has whetted Graeme's appetite this weekend and he has picked out a both teams to score accumulator from the Premiership, Championship and League One fixtures. Gettting stuck into the both teams to score market in Scotland can be lucrative, especially in the lower leagues, where goals are very often plentiful. Back Graeme's selections in a five-fold and you will get odds of just over 6/1 with BetVictor.
Dumbarton v Falkirk
Both teams scored in eight of Dumbarton’s last ten games in the Scottish Championship last season, with Ian Murray’s men opting for an attacking style of play in their games. The Sons also started this season on the wrong end of a 4-2 scoreline against Stranraer. Falkirk began this season with a 2-1 victory against Clyde in the Ramsdens Cup, and three of their games last season ended in 4-3 scorelines, including one against Dumbarton.
Dundee Utd v Inverness
Goals can be expected as United take on Inverness at Tannadice. This fixture last year saw a thrilling 4-4 draw, with Inverness in particular scoring goals for fun the last season. Terry Butcher's men scored the third highest amount of goals but also conceded the third highest. Interestingly, United failed to score in only four of their 19 home league fixtures last season.
Forfar v Airdrie
Airdrie have certainly given their fans value for money this season in terms of entertainment. The Diamonds won their first game in The Ramsdens Cup against local neighbours Hamilton, before beating Stenhousemuir 4-3 in The League Cup on Saturday. Forfar started the season by beating East Fife 2-1 at home before sensationally knocking Rangers of the league cup by the same scoreline. Incredibly, only four of Forfar’s home games last season ended with both teams not scoring.
Stenhousemuir v Stranraer
This is another fixture where both teams have opened this season with two spectacular score lines. Stenny have started this season with that 4-3 defeat to Airdrie, following a 4-4 draw with Arbroath, whilst Stranraer defeated Dumbarton 4-2 followed by a 4-3 victory over Brechin. In three of the four meetings between these two clubs last season, both teams scored.
East Fife v Dunfermline
After East Fife’s defeat to Forfar, they were then beaten 6-2 by Championship side Morton after extra-time. The side from Methil only managed to keep six clean sheets in all competitions last year, but have been able to find the net in their last five out of six competitive games in a run that stretches back to the end of last season. Dunfermline have netted in both away fixtures this season with an impressive 3-1 win at Cowdenbeath followed by a 2-0 win at League Two East Stirling.
