Forfar started the season by beating East Fife 2-1 at home before sensationally knocking Rangers of the league cup by the same scoreline. Incredibly, only four of Forfar’s home games last season ended with both teams not scoring.

Stenhousemuir v Stranraer

This is another fixture where both teams have opened this season with two spectacular score lines. Stenny have started this season with that 4-3 defeat to Airdrie, following a 4-4 draw with Arbroath, whilst Stranraer defeated Dumbarton 4-2 followed by a 4-3 victory over Brechin. In three of the four meetings between these two clubs last season, both teams scored.

East Fife v Dunfermline

After East Fife’s defeat to Forfar, they were then beaten 6-2 by Championship side Morton after extra-time. The side from Methil only managed to keep six clean sheets in all competitions last year, but have been able to find the net in their last five out of six competitive games in a run that stretches back to the end of last season. Dunfermline have netted in both away fixtures this season with an impressive 3-1 win at Cowdenbeath followed by a 2-0 win at League Two East Stirling.
