Both Teams to Score Betting Tip

Crystal Palace v Newcastle 5/6

Under Tony Pulis, Crystal Palace are now proving to be a different outfit, scoring goals and clinching three points. The mini revival all started at the KC Stadium, gaining a 1-0 victory against Hull City and since then they have had two commanding performances at Selhurst Park defeating West Ham 1-0 and Cardiff 2-0. Last time out in the Premier League for Palace was a short trip to Stamford Bridge to face the ‘special one’, after going behind on the 16 minute mark, Palace shown character and got back into the game. Chelsea did manage to pull the result back round, but Cech needed to be on guard multiple times. The Magpies will now travel to London and Palace will want to continue their fight and good home form. Newcastle on the other hand, will be eyeing up the Europa League spot and a possible 4th place position. They have gained something from four of their last five games. Most recently against the hard to break down side, Southampton and before that match up, a great valiant three points away to Manchester Utd.  A match up which is likely to feature plenty of action, as both ends of the table come into a vital clash.

Sunderland v Norwich 4/5:

The task is clearly laid out for the black cats if they want to escape from the relegation zone, three points is a must when facing other teams that have found it hard to find their feet in the league. They will welcome Norwich in open hands, the Canaries could be viewed as one of these teams that have struggled so far this season. Only recently, in their last two games, have they managed to find some form, a convincing away win against the Baggies is the main highlight. Sunderland on the hand are in need of points very fast and will find themselves bottom on Christmas day. A win here and if they gain points on Boxing day, could mean a jump over Fulham. The Black Cats will have something to cheer about going into this match, an immaculate win in extra time against Chelsea mid week has pushed Sunderland into the latter stages of the Carling Cup. Both teams in this match will be pumping shots, as goals clearly will help survival.

Reading v Wigan 8/11:

Two ex Premiership teams come into battle at the newly named, American Express Community Stadium. The Royals lie in 5th position and are currently six points off an automatic promotion place, three points at home will give them a better chance of securing a top two  place in the new year. Reading have also gained ten points in their last five games, most recently a 1-0 victory against Huddersfield. Their opponents, Wigan need to kick start their season, starting at the weekend. Under new management, Wigan will be hoping to escape from 14th and become a challenging opposition with hope of squeezing into the play offs.  A recent home win against neighbours, Bolton has injected some confidence after their dismal four game losing streak before hand, including a removal from the UEFA Europa League.  Three points will prove to be like royalty for both teams.

Preston v Brentford 4/5:

Preston who are in 4th will take on Brentford who are only two points ahead of them in 3rd.  Deepdale has viewed a transformation as compared with last season and the white shirts are currently on a five game unbeaten streak, which has witnessed three wins and two draws. In each of these matches, goals have been scored by Preston and in total they have notched up nine goals overall in this five match section. Brentford, similar to Preston are also not shy to scoring, in their last five games, seven goals have been bagged, three against League One promotion hopefuls, Peterborough. Goals in this one will decide who will be just behind the automatic places come Christmas.

Bristol Rovers v Portsmouth 4/5:

Into League Two we have two teams that will be aiming to avoid relegation. Portsmouth, the ex premiership outfit only a few years ago, will be hoping to avoid the drop into non-league action.  Both teams will be itching for a result as Bristol Rovers are only one point off the drop zone, whereas Pompey are only four points off. Bristol Rovers have the best record out the two from their last five games, but still similar to Pompey, inconsistency has proven to be their downfall. Pompey have only managed to grab two points in their last five games and have shown gaps in the defence in all of these matches conceding two or more goals. Bristol Rovers on the other hand have only conceded three goals in their last five. However, this doesn’t cover their relegation-threatening marker. A key match for both of these teams and only goals in the opponents net will help boost their chances of escaping non-league football.
