Crewe v Shrewsbury 

Shrewsbury have struggled to keep clean sheets recently, not keeping an opponent out since the 24th of October. Six goals have flown past them in their last four away games and although Crewe are far from one of the more potent teams in the divison, they have found their shooting boots of late. They've scored at least one goal in each of their last five matches, netting three times away at Colchester. With Ryan Lowe on their books, they have experience up front in this division which is something they've been lacking for a long while. They've conceded 37 goals this season and it's been difficult defensively with just five clean sheets all campaign for Steve Davis' men. 

 

Mansfield v York 

Mansfield have had few BTTS matches this season, but more recently they've been a little more open in their play. They haven't kept a clean sheet for seven matches now and they're coming up against a side who have been appalling in recent weeks. A win against Morecambe may just have given them the confidence they need to kick on here. They've shipped 23 goals in their last eight games, but have found the net in the last three and there are signs that things are improving in front of goal for the Minstermen. These two teams have met five times since 2011 and both teams have scored in four of those encounters including the three most recent. 

 

Northampton v Accrington 

Northampton are sitting 3rd in the table and a really positive recent run. Despite their off the field problems, they have rallied and shot up the table. They've been finding the net with regularity as well, being the 5th highest scorers in the league. 38 goals in 22 league games is pretty impressive and all but seven of their matches this season have seen both sides find the net. They've scored 11 goals in their last five matches as they welcome Accrington to Sixfields. Bad weather in the North put pay to their game against Carlisle and Accrington find themselves slipping down the table as a result of missing a huge chunk of games due to postponements. Both sides have scored in each of the last four matches involving Stanley and this one could go the same way. 

 

Exeter v AFC Wimbledon 

Wimbledon weren't able to find the net against Bristol Rovers on Boxing Day, but it was very much backs to the wall after they had Paul Robinson sent off after just four minutes. They have scored in three of their last four away matches though including a 2-2 draw at Newport and a 1-1 draw in East London with Leyton Orient. Both teams have scored in each of the last four matches at St James' Park with the last encounter here seeing five goals with Luton just shading it. Exeter have scored 18 of their 30 goals at home this season whilst Wimbledon have scored just over half their goals on their travels. 

 

Dover v Bromley 

These two teams have been scoring for fun in recent outings with Dover hitting five last time they were here. The time before that, they stuck three past Barrow and here they face Bromley who have conceded seven goals in their last two matches. Bromley have scored 46 goals this season, one of the highest in the league and 21 of them have arrived on their travels, Between these two sides, they've conceded 80 goals in the National League and it seems that defending is an issue which both managers need to address. Both sides have found the net in all of the last 4 home matches for Dover and this cne could make it five.
