Breeders Cup tips: The best bet predictions for the Breeders Cup racecard on Saturday night and an each-way double racing betting tip.

Another week has simply flown by in the World of racing but this weekend is at least something a little different with the valuable and ultra-competitive Breeders Cup from Santa Anita (Los Angeles), though sadly I will be watching on TV this year and not in the sunshine via a trip to Universal Studios!

Every year we send a few challengers over with high hopes, and we invariably come back with our tails between our legs but the Americans are shrewd businessmen – do we really think they organised it for the end of our season when our horses are tired and over the top without good reason?

This season look no different to be honest with you, but I have dug out a couple with each way betting tips, though we will only really know if they are good enough after they have passed the post as always.

Aiden O’Brien always has the weight of the World on his shoulders but then that is to be expected for the commercially run billion pound industry that is Coolmore I suppose, yet here I fancy not one but two of his runners – can lightning strike once, let alone twice I wonder? Horse one goes by the name of Magician (13/2 Paddy Power) and looked like a future classic winner when hacking up in the Dee Stakes at Chester last May. After a disaster over a mile at Ascot he has been rested to recover since but is bred to be much better suited by the mile and a half of the Turf Classic and at 13/2 I hope he proves difficult to keep out of the frame.

As for the Classic, if Declaration of War handles the dirt (and that is a massive IF), then he must have every chance at odds of 7/1 (Paddy Power). His win in the Juddmonte International at York is top quality British form (how that equates here is a bit of a guess), making him massively overpriced and the reason why I cannot resist a little each way with fingers and toes crossed!
