Burnley v Cheslea Betting Tips and Predictions

Title favourites Chelsea begin their season this Monday with a trip up north to face Premier League new boys Burnley at Turf Moor and we have some free football betting tips.

I'm going to start off these tips but ruling out the draw and the Burnley win being as viable options. Both these options are priced too short. Burnley have spent mostly on Championship players like Marvin Sordell and Lukas Jutiewicz when Burnley get relegated these signings will serve them well but for this season in the Premier League things are going to be painful for Sean Dyche and co.

Compare this to Chelsea's summer activity of signing blockbuster stars like Fabregas and Diego Costa and odds of 4/1 and 8/1 just aren't tempting enough for hard-headed punters.

They are going to be incredibly well organised, near impossible to beat and with the attacking talent they now have they will now take their chances.

Odds that I like even more are though are Chelsea to win 3-0 which is available at 17/2 with bet365. Burnley's defense conceded only 35 goals in 44 games last season but there is a world of difference between defending against Barnsley's Chris O'Grady and Diego Costa.

With Fabregas pulling the strings I don't see Burnley's defense holding out for long. You might think this suggests a 6-1 thrashing but under Mourinho when Chelsea get a team on the ropes they tend to play no risk football and accept the lead they already have. It is easy to envision a scenario where Chelsea are three goals up after 65/70 minutes and kill the game off. 3-0 with the option to cash out for an early profit if Chelsea bag a couple early on is a great bet.

As a last thought big things are expected from Eden Hazard this season and I think his movement could prove too much for Burnley. Hazard to score two or more goals is available at 10/1 with Ladbrokes.
