Jose Mourinho and Chelsea welcome La Liga leaders Atletico Madrid to fortress Stamford Bridge with a place in the Champions League final at stake and we have some free football betting tips.

What a difference 180 minutes makes. A mere two games ago Sunderland had become the first team in the Mourinho era to beat Chelsea after the outclassed a toothless home side. This defeat came hot on the heels of defeats to Villa and Palace. Whispers of crisis were beginning to stir.

Fast forward two games to the eve of the second leg against Atletico and the picture is suddenly very different.

At the Vincente Calderon Chelsea shut up shop and came away with a 0-0 draw. Then at Anfield they did much the same save that this time they ruthlessly exploited Liverpool's defensive mistakes to win 2-0.

Going into the home leg on Wednesday Chelsea must be confident of doing the same again. Things aren't all sunny however. Cech and Terry are both definitely unavailable through injury whilst Eden Hazard and Samuel Eto'o are doubts. On top of this Lampard and Mikel are both suspended after picking up yellow cards in the first leg.

Chelsea are left one injury away from fielding a very weak looking side.

Atletico meanwhile haven't lost a game since Febuary and have won 4 out of the last 5. They have been in better form than Chelsea over the last month or so. However, it is not all rosy for the Madrid side.

Unlike Mourinho Diego Simone felt unable to rotate his side fro their league clash against Valencia.

As a result nine of the players that faced Chelsea also lined up against Valencia. Likely the same nine will have to play again on Wednesday.

Given the Herculean efforts that Atletico have put in so far this season could this last game be a bridge to far?

Given all this the match odds are tight. Chelsea are favours at 13/10 with bet365. The draw is available at 23/10 and the Atletico victory is 5/2 with the same provider.

The draw is the stand out price here. Neither side will attack through the game and a 0-0 or 1-1 draw is highly plausible. At 23/10 it is too good to ignore.

Chelsea's results in the first leg and against Liverpool were based on parking the bus and not attacking. That tactic cannot be relied upon to get Chelsea what they want though. At some point Chelsea will have to open up commit men forward in pursuit of a goal.

This point will likely come in the second half and it is at this point that Atletico will likely score. A half time draw and full time Atletico win is 7/1 with William Hill.

Finally, Chelsea have looked pretty toothless in front of goal in recent weeks and Atletico don't concede many. Simone's men to win to nil is 5/1 with betfred.
