Cheltenham Festival Day 4 Expert Betting Tips

Triumph Juvenile Hurdle Betting Tips

PEACE AND CO (5/2 Paddy Power) has looked very impressive on his two runs in this country.  The quicker pace of the race should suit him here and on form he has plenty in hand over second favourite and stablemate, Hargam. BELTOR (E/W) (7/1 bet365) caught the eye first time up at Ludlow before bolting up at Kempton in the Adonis.  He was a tip for this column at 50/1 before Kempton which looks a cracking price now!  Petite Parisienne could be best of the Irish raiders with the mares allowance to help her cause.

Albert Bartlett Novices’ Hurdle Betting Tips

This looks the most open of the novice hurdle events at the Festival with seven or eight holding very realistic each way chances.  Black Hercules leads the Irish challenge, unsurprisingly relishing the step up to three miles last time out.  He ran a corker at the Festival last season and another big run would be no surprise.  Martello Tower looks a dour stayer which could come in handy given that there are plenty in here that like to be close to the pace.  A step down in trip didn't suit last time but he still put in an admirable performance. However, the vote goes to THOMAS BROWN (E/W) (14/1 William Hill) who has done nothing wrong over hurdles and despite the headgear looks a progressive stayer.  He showed great determination to get back up on New Years Day with this step up in trip looking likely to suit.

Gold Cup Betting Tips

It's a wide open looking contest this year with the class act of the race heading the betting.  Silviniaco Conti has added another pair of Grade 1's to his record this season but, although he has run well enough in a pair of Gold Cups, his 0/3 Cheltenham record is a slight worry.  Many Clouds has continued to improve this season but his record on quicker ground is a question mark for potential backers.  ROAD TO RICHES (E/W) (10/1 Betfred) on the other hand act on any ground and is another who has done nothing but improve, winning the Lexus Chase when last seen.
