Our first selection comes from the opening race, the Neptune Novices’ Hurdle and we are with long term Cheltenham betting tip RED SHERLOCK (9/2 Bet365). This horse has plenty of course form, including two bumper victories where he beat the likes of Captain Cutter and The Skyfarmer.  On his last start he claimed another Cheltenham victory in bottomless ground on Trials day where he saw off the challenge of Rathvinden to remain unbeaten over hurdles to date.  He has shortened up in the betting and he looks the one to be on.

The second selection for our lucky 15 is SMAD PLACE (13/2 Bet365) in the RSA Chase. The horse has finished third in the last two renewals of the World Hurdle and since switching to fences has looked impressive.  Jumping well on debut at Huntington, he was well clear of the field before unseating jockey Robert Thornton at the last fence.  He made up for that when easily winning at Exeter.  What appeals most about this horse is his mix of stamina and tactical speed and form around Cheltenham all be it over the smaller obstacles.

Our third selection is in the feature race of the day, the Champion Chase and our Cheltenham tip for this is ARVIKA LIGEONNIERE (6/1 Bet365). The horse has been our long term Champion Chase betting tip and we are sticking with the horse. He jumps big and bold and if he can go left handed as well as he does right handed he could be the one to be with given the apparent weakness of the race this year.

The final selection for Wednesday’s Lucky 15 betting tip comes in the Cross Country and a horse from the Paul Nicholls yard. The horse is SIRE COLLONGES (7/1 Bet365) who Nicholls has said has been prepped for this race. He won the Cross Country around Cheltenham in December and will surely go close again here.
