Croatia v Mexico Betting Tips and Predictions

Group A’s finale between Croatia and Mexico is massive for both sides and we have free World Cup 2014 betting tips.

After their 4-0 win over Cameroon last week, Croatia sit on 3 points needing a win to get through with Brazil expected to win. Mexico are on 4 points and know a point will put them in to the last 16. With Croatia having to go for it, this could be an amazing match but it could be heartbreaking for one side.

Both can progress if Brazil draw or lose and this game ends as a draw but watching Cameroon that looks unlikely. Mexico don’t look like a side who want to defend and Croatia were brilliant at times against Cameroon.

Mexico have also been impressive though, their opening game victory against Cameroon ended 1-0 but if it wasn’t for the linesman’s flag it could have been far more. They held Brazil to a very credible 0-0 draw and know another draw will see them through.

This game is a tough one to call with so much to play for and both sides impressing so far. The bookies agree this one could go either way, Croatia are slight favorites at 6/4 with Betfred, the draw is 12/5 with Bet365 while Mexico are available at 2/1.

I think I will be siding with the bookies on this one in that the match winners market looks like a perilous place to go. Both sides have impressed and even though there is value to be found, it is a hard game to call.
