Bayer Leverkusen to beat Hertha Berlin 4/9

Bayer 04 top the Bundesliga after their impressive victory away to Dortmund on the opening weekend. Leverkusen looked impressive throughout and even made the history books when winger, Karim Bellarbi scored within the first nine seconds. Dortmund couldn’t recover, and Leverkusen made another blow in the final seconds of the match to take the score line to 2-0. Leverkusen are now on a five game win streak, even though this fixture count does include two friendlies. However, scoring six away from home in the Cup and three away to Copenhagen in a Champions League Qualifier, Bayer do seem to like the look at the goal so far this season. Hertha Berlin will travel to the Bay Arena and they drew against Weder Bremen 2-2 on the opening weekend. Hertha Berlin will be hoping for a top half finish this season and a stronger performance this weekend is much needed to beat the reds on fire.

Caens to beat Rennes 7/4:

Caen are playing against all odds at the moment winning two from their first three games, the newly promoted team now sits in 4th spot. Caen have been playing some nice attacking football, on the opening weekend they travelled away to Evian and brought home three points alongside a 3-0 victory, then last weekend they travelled back from Reims smiling again after defeating the red shirts 2-0.  Rennes will be their next opponents and one, which they will firmly believe they can distinguish. Rennes have gained four points from their first three games. Rennes once again, offered little in front of goal against St Etienne last weekend, so I believe Caen will be fired up for this one.

Lens to beat Reims 23/20:

RC Lens eventually gained their first three points last weekend defeating French footballing giants, Lyon, 1-0 away from home. RC Lens needed this injection of confidence after suffering two successive defeats against Nantes and Guingamp by a narrow 1-0 score line.  Reims will travel to Lens in hope of kick starting their campaign, but two defeats and one draw has slumped the red shirts down into 19th position. A draw no bet could be the safer option during this match up, but RC Lens played will be full of confidence after their performance against Lyon and they have the ability to drop Reims with another blow.

Braga to beat Estoril 4/5:

Sporting Braga will be seeking European qualification this year and haven’t started too bad gaining four points from their first two games. On the opening weekend, the red shirts of Braga overwhelmed Boavista beating the newly promoted side 3-0 at the Estadio AXA, but then Braga failed to build on this momentum last weekend, away to another newly promoted side, Moreirense, with a goalless score line. Estoril will be their next opponents and an opponent they will be expecting to beat, as Estoril will be once again trying to avoid the drop down. Estoril currently lie in 13th position, stalemate was the result on the opening weekend drawing 0-0 against Arouca, and then a 5-0 drubbing at home against Rio Ave was the result last weekend.
