Metz will arrive holding poor pre season form losing two and drawing their last game against Ligue 1 opposition Rennes.

AZ to beat Heracles 17/10 7:45pm Saturday:

The red shirts from Alkmaar are the team to tip in this match, they will be looking to improve on last season after only scraping into the European places after coming 8^th. AZ were slipping and sliding all of last season and will be hoping to put things back onto the right direction. Their last Eredivise provided a good performance and well deserved point against runners up of the league, Feyernood. AZ have only had a Dutch test during their pre season campaign, defeating VVV Venlo, NEC Nijmegen and beating their neighbours AFC 36 4-1 away from home. Heracles may have survived the drop but the margin was only separated by a five-point gap. Their pre season campaign hasn’t been of the greatest, losing two and winning only one against Eredivisie second division side, De Graafschap.

Twente to beat Cambuur 3/4 6:45pm Saturday

FC Twente travel to Leeuwarden on Saturday to face Cambuur who did well last season to survive and stay in the Eredivise for another season. FC Twente finished strongly in 3^rd position last season and were only four points off 2^nd position. Twente are also unbeaten in their last five games and their pre season has been impressive. The highlight in their pre season arrived against Sporting Lisbon at Home who they beat convincingly, 2-0. Twente were also not shy of goals early in July when they faced Selectie Twebterand who occupy the lower part of the Dutch Football leagues. Twente came out with a 10-0 thrashing. Cambuur have matched Twente though on pre season performances, winning four games against lower Dutch league opposition, scoring an average of two or more goals. Their strongest test came against Greek side, PAOK who they drew 1-1.

Herenveen to beat Dordrecht 4/9 5:30pm Saturday

Herenveen welcome newcomers, Dordecht to the Abe Landstra Stadion on Saturday and blue and white stripes that hold the notorious love heart on their shirts, will be hoping to build upon their success they delivered during the 13/14 season. Herenveen played against the odds last season and ended up in 5^th position. Pre season has started well winning three from their last five games and they will have to erase their recent defeat against Levante before they face the new entries. Dordrecht will be hoping to start their campaign with a bang, but they have found It difficult during pre season to find a spark, losing three and drawing one of their five friendlies.
