3.45 Windsor

Two great adages in racing are – always follow fillies in form and always follow sprinters in form.  In the shape of the Jeremy Noseda trained MIA SAN TRIPLE (5/2 Coral) we have a combination of the two.  She has shown an excellent attitude in both her recent wins from the front, stoutly holding off all comers and, with the lead likely hers again, this progressive three-year-old can take another rise the weights in her stride.

Lady Gibraltar is looking dangerously handicapped now but she has offered some sub-standard displays both with and without the headgear of late.  She is worth noting in the betting however, as some of her runs last year would see her in with a great chance.

Amygdala and Artistic Charm, like the selection, are three-year-olds who look open to improvement.  The difference however is that this pair have already been beaten off their respective marks, although the step back down in trip for the former makes her the biggest danger.

4.35 Curragh

MAAREK (13/8 Betfred) looks a class above these despite having to give weight away all round.  He is adaptable over both five and six furlongs while any further rain would only aid his cause.  His effort behind Slade Power (when sent off favourite) off level weights when last seen is head and shoulders above these. 

Rocky Ground looks the main danger with a bit more scope than the selection likely.  He has been running well all season but ground softer than good is an unknown but he does have a handy 5lb weight advantage.  

Russian Soul is another worthy of consideration but he has been kept aaay from soft ground since two heavy defeats at the start of his career.  He has backed up a very solid Dubai campaign with placed Listed efforts in Europe but would need to step-up a little on that form.
