Horse racing betting tips for each race shown live on Channel 4 from Newbury, Newmarket and Ripon.
Another bumper eight race, triple header on Channel 4 this Saturday with coverage from Newbury, Newmarket and Ripon. Check out our betting tips for each race!
Persun has proved herself with plenty of cut in the ground so, despite being more exposed than a few of these, is a solid proposition in this contest. Home Cummins beat a decent yardstick in Ythan Waters last time having shown plenty on her debut and warrents respect. The selection however is SLEEPY DUST (13/2 William Hill) who I liked at a price at Royal Ascot and a nursery off 79 should be within her grasp.
Belardo probably has the best form on offer with his fourth in the July Stakes behind Ivawood. He is taken on with HAWKESBURY (5/4 Ladbrokes) who was a very impressive maiden winner at Doncaster and is the more likely of the pair to go on the soft surface on breeding.
Lady Horatia is going the right way but is struggling to get her head in front. She has form with cut and is respected. CREW CUT (13/2 Coral) has been out of form since winning this race last year off a 6lb higher mark. He has been keeping smart company though and this is considerably easier, he should make a bold bid for a repeat win.
Camborne hasn't enjoyed the most successful season thus far but this is likely to prove far more suitable. Seal Of Approval didn't go a yard at Haydock last time but would be dangerous on previous efforts. The vote though goes to SEISMOS (14/1 Ladbrokes) who ran far better than the bare form would suggest last time and for whom conditions hold no fears.
The step down to six furlongs might be just what the free going PENNY DROPS (4/1 Ladbrokes) needs. She acts well on soft ground but has been finishing a shade weakly over seven. Piazon appreciates plenty of cut and gets on well with Louis Steward, he heads the dangers along with the progressive Boy In The Bar.
Not a lot of in-form horses here with the exception of SEE THE STORM (4/1 Coral) who now finds himself on a career high mark having won three of his last four starts. Kinglami has been running consistently well in decent races of late and should get placed again.
A wide open contest here with OUT DO (11/1 Betfred) thoroughly deserving of picking up one of these big handicaps on his current run of form. The headgear may just eek out enough improvement for this to be the day. It's only a matter of time before CONFESSIONAL (20/1 Coral) clicks in one of these races and he is too big a price to ignore.
Gregorian was disappointing in France last weekend although this is easier providing that race hasn't left a mark. These are perfect conditions for BRETON ROCK (5/1 William Hill) and he is chosen as he gives the impression that he still have more to give over this specialist trip.
