This video looks at Friday’s runners and Cheltenham tips from the Nicholls yard and he kicks off with a leading fancy in the very first race. Calipto (5/1 with Winner) is the current favourite for the Triumph Hurdle and Nicholls is keen on his chances. The horse has had a great season and goes into the race in fantastic shape.

The second horse he spoke about was Port Melon (40/1 Sky Bet) who could go to the Albert Bartlett if the ground dries out. His massive price is interesting given that Nicholls said he attains lots of ability and will not run a bad race if he lines up.

Silviniaco Conti (3/1 Bet365) is their big hope for the Cheltenham Gold Cup and he is our long term Gold Cup betting tip, Nicholls has been pleased with his preparation and his impressive King George win on Boxing Day proves he has a real chance of overturning Bobs Worth in the 2014 Gold Cup.

Rocky Creek (25/1 Bet365) is another entry in the Gold Cup but despite getting tired last time out Nicholls said he has got an outside chance in the feature. He blundered in the Hennessey so his jumping needs to be spot on and if he gets decent ground he is a definite each-way player for the Gold Cup.

Mr Mole (16/1 Ladbrokes) was the last horse spoken about and he could take his chance in the very last race of the 2014 Cheltenham Festival, the Grand Annual. He has ran three times so far this season, winning one and placing in the other two. Nicholls said he is progressing nicely and with a strong pace could be a lively chance for his last expert Cheltenham tip.
