Expert Cheltenham Tips 2014 for Day One of the Festival

Paul Nicholls has been talking to Betfair about his horses going to the Cheltenham Festival and from what he has said we have found some expert Cheltenham tips.

The first video talks about his selections for Tuesday 11^th March and the first horse he looked at was Irving (5/2 William Hill) in the Spureme Novices Hurdle. Nicholls said Irving needs to sharpen up his jumping but will be suited to the expected good ground, he has a massive chance, especially given the speed the horse possesses.

Next up it was Dodging Bullets (6/1 Bet365) who will run in Tuesday’s second race, the Arkle. He won his first three Novice Chases before a good effort at Newbury where the ground may have been too soft, the faster they go the better for this horse and he is our Arkle betting tip.

Pitt Zig is a horse that Paul Nicholls sounds keen on for next season and he may go to the Champion Hurdle in search of some prize money. He won a Grade One in France before finishing second in the Ladbrokes.
