Sampdoria to beat Atalanta 10/11:
Sampdoria will be full of confidence after defeating their fierce rivals, Genoa 1-0 last weekend. The three points have also boosted their unbeaten streak to five games, featuring four victories. Sampdoria are also proving to be a huge contrast last season, and so far in the Serie A table, the blue shirts of Genoa are sitting in 4th. Their opponents from Bergamo are continuing to slip further down the table, last weekend the 3-0 defeat against Juventus, totalled their run too three straight losses.
Udinese to beat Cesena 8/15:
Udinese are our second pick in the Serie A action across Sunday when they host one of the newcomers, Cesena to the Stadio Communale. As well as their stadium being under development, Udinese are also developing when compared to last seasons campaign. The black and white stripes are high flying in the table at the moment, occupying 3rd place and winning their last three Serie A games, featuring an impressive 1-0 narrow win against expect title challengers, Napoli. Cesena may have started off with a bang, producing a 1-0 victory against Parma, but since then, Cesena have failed to find three points. An early goal last weekend, was soon cancelled out by AC Milan which means a much stronger performance will be needed to push Udinese progressing higher.
PSV to beat Excelsior 1/4:
PSV maybe edging top spot at the moment in the Eredivise, but Herenveen proved to a shock for them last weekend, when the Eindhoven giants were defeated 1-0 away from home. No more slip-ups can be allowed if PSV want to flick off their enemies and Ajax are in 2nd, only on goal difference. Excelsior will be their next challenge, and this will prove to be a must win game. Excelsior are currently 11th and have failed to find three points in their last four attempts in the Eredivisie.
Benfica to beat Arouca 2/11:
Benfica will be looking to defend the Portugal Premier League title this season, and so far so good for the red shirts of Lisbon. Benfica are currently top of the league and rivals, Porto are now four points behind them. Before their midweek Champions League upset against Bayer Levekusen, Benfica had won their last three league games scoring eleven goals in the making. Arouca are in 10th and they too will be seeking a much better performance since they were defeated at home against Academica.
