Eintracht Frankfurt to beat Paderborn 9/5:
Eintracht Frankfurt seem to be a rejuvenated side when compared to last seasons campaign. Now, the red and black shirts can find themselves fighting for a place in Europe in 5th place. Before the international break, form has also been on their current agenda. Frankfurt have notched up eight points from their last four games, winning their last two. Featured in this impressive run, Schalke 04 and Mainz 05 have been held and they too will be seeking access into European football next season. Paderborn are one of the new entries this season in the Bundesliga and they entered in style earlier in the season, producing a unbeaten streak. The league champions, Bayern Munich, soon stamped on that streak and then Borussia Mochengladbach added to their misery. Paderborn did manage to find their feet once again or some part of it at least before their cup match, only a 2-2 draw could separate them with Bayer Leverkusen. Frankfurt will want to continue their adventure though.
Valencia to beat Deportivo La Coruna 10/11:
Valencia are currently reflecting their good old days in La liga because they are currently in 2nd place and if Barcelona were to slip up, the white shirts could go top on Sunday. Valencia last claimed league glory in 2001-02 and 02-03 season and this year they seem hungry than ever. In their last five games, four victories and one draw have been gained, defeating the league champions, Athletico Madrid on the way. Deportivo on the other hand need a new road to follow as they are the rock bottom team in La liga. Four straight losses and a 8-2 home defeat against Real Madrid has surely rocked the Deportivo boat. Now Valencia will be hoping to sink it further down.
Bordeaux to beat Caen 10/11:
Bordeaux have had a small hit into their form last time out losing away to Reims, and on Sunday they hope to keep up with the pace offered by Marseille in 1st when newly promoted Caen travel to the Stade Jacques. Bordeaux have been in this situation before when Guingamp nabbed a narrow victory in early August. Then the royal blues replied in perfect fashion, earning seven points from their next three games. Caen have been slipping further down the league so Bordeaux will be hoping to cast the brighter smile on Sunday. Caen haven’t seen three points in their last five games, losing three and drawing two. League leaders, Marseille defeated Caen last time so Bordeaux will be fired up even more and will want to match that performance.
Marseille to beat Toulouse 8/11:
Marseille are the deserved league leaders in Ligue 1 after winning seven and drawing one game to boost their tally to twenty points. Marseille have won their last five games too before the international break. Marseille represented character of champions last time out when they travelled to Caen, a late goal fired home by the leagues top goal scorer, Gignac sent the travelling fans into raptures that has pushed them five points clear of Bordeaux. Toulouse have been improving and look impressive when compared to last season. They are currently in 8th position and unbeaten in their last four defeating European hopefuls, St Etienne on the way and holding 13/14 champions, PSG at home. It will be a tough ask for Toulouse to rock the sky blues at the moment.
