Ireland to Beat Georgia 13/10
Scotland take on Germany in their opening game on Sunday in Dortmund while Ireland travel to Georgia looking to get their campaign off to a winning start. It is the latter fixture that kicks of this Accumulator with the Republic available at 13/10 with William Hill to come out on top. On the back of a 2-0 win in a friendly over Oman, Ireland come in to this fixture with a strong squad that are building momentum under Martin O’Neill and Roy Keane and given that they are 16/1 to top Group D compared to Georgia at 500/1 there is a clear difference between the two sides and that’s why the 13/10 for an opening game victory looks enticing.
Hungary v Northern Ireland Draw 11/4:
Group F also gets underway on Sunday and sees Northern Ireland kick off their campaign away to Hungary. Northern Ireland seem to have very inconsistent qualifying campaigns that see them take a point away to the might of Portugal then lose to bottom of the table side, Luxembourg, as they showed in the World Cup qualifying Group stages. That said, this is a fixture they will be keen to get something out of to start qualifying well and the 11/4 on offer with William Hill for the Draw is where the value lies.
Greece to Beat Romania 11/10:
Also in Group F are Greece and Romania and the opening game sees the two sides meet. They are arguably the strongest two teams in this Group, seen as one of the weaker ones, and both will be keen to get ahead of their nearest rival early on. Greece beat Romania in the play off for the World Cup place in Brazil and, given that slight edge and better attacking qualities they possess, Greece look good at 11/10 with William Hill to come out on top again; especially playing at home and when you take in to account they only missed out on a World Cup Quarter-FInal on penalties.
Denmark to Beat Armenia -1 6/5:
The final leg of the Accumulator comes from Group I and involves Denmark and Armenia. There is clearly no value in backing Denmark outright in this fixture given that they are trading around 4/9 with most firms for the victory. With main rivals for qualification not in competitive action, with Serbia playing France in a friendly, Denmark have an ideal opportunity to send out a strong message with victory at home on Sunday against one of the two so called weaker sides in the Group. On that basis the value is in the Handicap market and the 6/5 with William Hill on Denmark with a –1 goal looks an ideal addition to this accumulator.
