Everton v Norwich – Both Teams to Score? Yes

Norwich manager Alex Neil has called for his side to be more clinical in front of goal as they failed to net against a stubborn West Brom outfit. I never factor in when teams fail to get on the scoresheet against West Brom as Tony Pulis is a master tactician when it comes to defensive organisation. The fact that the Norwich side remained blank doesn't worry me in the slightest as I know Everton are a different prospect defensively. A lot weaker than the Baggies. Norwich bagged two against Newcastle and hit the woodwork twice, they do create chances and if players such as Nathan Redmond and Wes Hoolahan start the match, they should create opportunities. Everton lost 2-1 to Arsenal at the weekend with Lukaku hitting the bar late on, they are much improved under Roberto Martinez in the last month or so and Ross Barkley is looking increasingly dangerous going forward. I fancy both sides to go for it.

Hull City v Leicester City – Both Teams to Score? Yes

Leicester kept their first clean sheet at the weekend against Crystal Palace and were rewarded with pizza purchased by manager Claudio Ranieri. They do continue to score goals however with Jamie Vardy on a hugely impressive run. Ranieri hasn't been starting Riyad Mahrez and there is certainly some strength in depth on the bench if required. Ranieri's team have been the proverbial breath of air to watch this season, scoring for fun and also shipping them. With this being a cup competition, both sides will want to progress to the next round and it's a realistic aim for the Foxes to go all the way this season. Hull have been keeping clean sheets in the Championship, winning 2-0 against in-form Birmingham at the weekend, but keeping Vardy and co out is a stiffer challenge and they lost Curtis Davies to injury last midweek. Hull have scored goals themselves, netting 5 in their last 2 home games and should give the Leicester defence plenty to think about.

Stoke v Chelsea – Stoke +1 Handicap

There was optimism surrounding Stoke going into their weekend encounter with Watford, but they came unstuck against an organised, stubborn Watford side. Mark Hughes, managing his 100th game for the Potters was quick to praise his opposite number for setting up for his Hornets side effectively. Prior to Saturday, Stoke were on a 4 game winning streak and they were playing with confidence and flair courtesy of the returning Bojan. Stoke, like Leicester are another side who might fancy their chances of making it all the way to the final and they will view Chelsea as a good opportunity to progress. We all know about Chelsea and their various flaws under Jose Mourinho. He may decide to field mainly youngsters here, but after their defeat to West Ham at the weekend, the Chelsea faithful need something to cheer. I think covering the handicap, we should see Stoke make a good fist of this game.
