Getafe v Real Sociedad – Getafe Draw No Bet 

Getafe have been hard to beat at home this season. They have only had one defeat and only failed to score once at home too, both happened in their 2-0 defeat to Barcelona here. Real Sociedad have won twice away from home, but they were against Levante and Granada, who are both reasonably hopeless at home. There was a poor result recently as Sociedad lost 2-0 at Las Palmas and I think they might struggle here. Getafe have scored have scored in all of their last five matches whilst Sociedad have failed to score in their last two away matches. Both sides are in similar form, but I think the home form will come through here for Getafe, who regularly keep clean sheets in front of their own fans. 

 

Blakburn v Rotherham – Both Teams to Score? Yes

Blackburn have been going well under new manager Paul Lambert. They've started scoring goals again and they are unbeaten since the 24th October when they narrowly lost the derby to Burnley. Likewise, Rotherham were improving under Neil Redfearn, but a set back at home to Wolves last weekend was a blow to the former Leeds manager. The Millers have scored in all but two away games though – Those blanks were against Derby aand Middlesbrough – two of the best defences in the league. They kept clean sheets against Bristol City and Leeds, but the Yorkshire club were extremely unlucky not to find the net. Both of those sides score fewer goals than Rovers. Blackburn have found the net in each of their last four games and in five of their last six. 

 

Rennes v Caen – Caen (+1) Handicap 

Rennes have been struggling of late, they have only won once since the 13th of September. There's been plenty of draws in there, but they haven't managed to pick up three points often. Their one win was against Angers. That was the only clean sheet they have kept in that run and they come up against Caen, who are in decent form. They've won four times on the road this season and are unbeaten in their last two away from home. They lost to Bastia, but they are decent at home and can boast much greater form than Rennes. Caen have kept six clean sheets this season, whilst Rennes have only managed three. Caen beat Bordeaux 4-1 away from home recently and held free-scoring Monaco to a 1-1 draw/. This handicap covers the draw, but I would fancy the away side to find success here. 

 

Heerenveen v Excelsior – Over 2.5 goals 

Herenveen made a good game of the thier 5-2 defeat to Ajax last weekend, but once again they showed their defensive vulnerabilities. Excelsior are also leaky at the back, but they were frustrated last week as they failed to beat strugglers FC Twente despite squandering numerous chances. They did manage a goal, but couldn't finish them off. There has been 13 goals in the last four matches involving Excelsior whilst there's been 19 in the same period for the hosts. 53% of games for both these sides have gone over 2.5 goals. Heerenveen have only failed to score once at home all season whilst Excelsior have only kept a single clean sheet. 

 

Ruch Chorzow v Jagiellonia – Ruch Chorzow Draw No Bet 

Ruch Chorzow have been in terrific form of late, only losing once since the 17th of October when they were undone by Piast Gliwice, who are bang in form and top of the table with a 5 point lead. They've scored 26 goals in 19 games so far and have won three of their last five matches in the Ekstraklasa. They have the 4th best form in the league and although Jagiellonia have picked up of late, they lost again last week and that could be a setback, particularly at home. Ruch Chorzow have won their last three games scoring six goals in the process and look good to get something from this match.
