Brentford v QPR – Both Teams to Score? Yes

A West London derby on Friday as in-form Brentford host QPR. The Bees have really turned a corner under Lee Carsley, they've picked up 3 consecutive wins, including a decent victory against Wolves and they've kept 2 clean sheets in their last couple of matches. I don't think it will be the same case here, as QPR have loads of firepower, scoring 3 against MK Dons last weekend and with Matt Phillips, Jay Emmanuel Thomas and Tjarron Chery all have goalscoring prowess and are capable of finding the net. Alan Judge and Lasse Vibe have been scoring for the home side and they'll be licking their lips at the prospect of facing a ropey QPR defence who ship goals for fun. Brentford come into this with plenty of confidence and they'll fancy their chances of another victory. QPR lost 4-0 last time they faced a West London rival on a Friday night and they'll be depserate not to repeat that scoreline here.

Lierse v Antwerp – Antwerp win

Antwerp are flying high, they are second in the league and sit top of the away form table. They have picked up 12 points from 6 games on their travels. They come off the back of a 1-1 draw with Deinze and they have won 2 of their last 4 on their travels. They've only conceded 3 goals on the road, but have scored 9, includng 3 against Heist.  They've kept clean sheets in half of their away games and have averaged a goal and a half a game. Lierse aren't a bad side, but they've lost 2 of their last 4 home games to Seraing and Cercle Brugge. They've conceded a goal in each of their home games this campaign and have shipped 20 goals in 11 games.

Heracles v Willem II – Heracles win

Heracles have started the season in terrific form and sit 4th in the table. They've been consistently winning and although there was disappointment last time out against Ajax, they look likely to bounce back here. It's no shame losing to the Amsterdam side, who have been brushing sides aside domestically, but Heracles beat PSV here, as well as picking up useful victories against Twente and Heerenveen. They won 1-0 away at De Graafschap, a hard fought victory to bounce back from their disappointment. They average just under 2 goals a game and have won 80% of their home games and they should continue that here. They picked up 57% of their wins at home and I fancy them to have too much for Willem II. The away side failed to beat Groningen on their last away adventure and despite a late equaliser, they then blew it and conceded immediately. I think they have defensive vulnerabilities and they will come unstuck here.

Grimsby v Cheltenham – Both Teams to Score? Yes

A decent looking game in the National League as 4th face 2nd with Grimsby looking to continue their impressive home form. Cheltenham have started their season well as they aim to bounce back immediately to the football league under Gary Johnson. The former Bristol City manager is vastly experience and has plenty of nous and should be able to guide his side back to League Two. They currently sit in 2nd. Grimsby's last game at Blundell Park resulted in a 7-0 victory over hapless Halifax and that will inspire confidence. They've only lost once at home all season and have scored 11 goals in their last 4 home matches. Cheltenham have been scoring plenty themselves, including hitting 7 past poor old Halifax and there have been 17 goals in their last 4 away matches. Both teams have scored in 78% of Grimsby's home games and the same in 78% of Cheltenham's away games. Cheltenham have scored in every away game whilst Grimsby have scored 38 goals so far this season.
