Football Accumulator Tips:

Montenegro v Austria – Austria win 

Austria have only lost 1 game since October 2013, that's almost 2 years of football. The match in which they tasted defeat was against Brazil, so it's a perfectly acceptable reverse. They come up against a Mongtenegro side who have won their last 2 games, but they were only against weaker opposition in the shape of Leichtenstein and Moldova. Prior to their mini-revival, they hadn't won in 7 and that including losing to opponents which Austria have already beaten – including Russia, Sweden and Denmark. Austria have already beaten Montenegro once, just by a single goal and I wouldn't be surprised to see the same scoreline again. 

 

Slovakia v Belarus – Slovakia to score over 1.5 team goals 

This is Slovakia's chance of qualifying for their first major tournament in 6 years and they need to overcome Belarus to keep the gap open between themselves and Ukraine. They've had some decent results, but they've wobbled a little of late and they need to regain their composure for this game. Belarus are out, they are playing for pride and cannot possibly salvage their campaign even with 3 points. Before losing to Spain, Slovakia had scored at least 2 goals in their previous 6 qualifiers including beating the Spaniards 2-1. They won 3-1 in Belarus and look likely to score a few in Zilina. 

 

Slovenia v Lithuania – Slovenia to score over 1.5 team goals

Slovenia aren't a bad side. They scored twice against England and Switzerland, showing they don't go down easily. They also beat Switzerland here by a goal to nil in one of their previously qualifiers. They put 6 past San Marino and 2 past Lithuania last time they met. Lithuania have conceded plenty of goals in this qualifying campaign, not just 2 to this opposition, but 4 at Wembley to England. Switzerland put a couple past them and I can only see them conceding at least 2 on this occasion. 

 

Macedonia v Ukraine – Under 2.5 goals 

Macedonia don't score many goals, that seems to be one of their problems. They are fairly stubborn in defeat, conceding just once to Spain and Luxembourg before that. Going back to September 2014, they shipped 5 goals in the reverse leg, but since then they've made a concious effort to tighten things up. There's also been little to separate these sides when they've met previously. Two 1-0s and a goalless draw in the last 3 meetings seems to set the tone for this one. Ukraine need to catch Slovakia and they will be desparate for the points, Macedonia will be hard to break down, it's got 1 or 2-0 written all over it!
