Schalke v Hoffenheim – Both Teams to Score? Yes

Schalke were undone by a last minute winner by in-form Augsburg last weekend and they return here for the Friday night kick off hosting Hoffenheim. The away side picked up only their second win of the season when they beat Hannover by a single goal and it was their first maximum haul since the 26th September. They went through a bit of a drought when they failed to score for four consecutive games in October & November, but they have scored five goals in their last three matches incluidng three against Monchengladbach and they also scored against Ingolstadt in their last away game, Schalke haven't kept a clean sheet since the 26th September and they've soored in each of their last nine matches. They've only failed to score twice all season, but they still aren't entirely secure at the back. Seven of their last nine matches have gone over 2.5 goals and there should be goals for both sides here.

Lokeren v Zulte Wagerem – Over 2.5 goals

Zulte Wagerem sit 5th in the table and have had a good season so far. They're the 3rd highest scorers in the league with 35 goals from 19 matches and have taken 12 points from their last 8 matches. They visit Lokeren who have been in pretty solid form themselves of late. They've taken 14 points from the same amount of games and beat Kortrijk in their last home match. Zulte plays two friday's ago when they were clawed back by a last minute equaliser from Gent, who are one of the in-form teams in the league. Lokeren have only failed to score once at home all season and just four times since the beginning of the campaign. They've also only managed four clean sheets all season, three of which have been on their travels. That will be music to the ears of free-scoring Zulte Wagerem. They've only failed to score twice on the road all season, one of those being against Club Brugge, who have one of the best defences in the league.

Southend v Bury – Southend Draw No Bet

Southend have been going about their business fairly quietly, but effectively. They sit 9th in the table and are now just two points behind tonight's opponents Bury. They are in-form compared to their visitors though and are unbeaten in their last six games and have picked up 13 point from their last eight matches in League One. They've only scored 25 goals all season, but 11 of those have been in the last six matches and they look good to get something at home to Bury. The Shakers are an odd one – they are a decent team, but on the road they have been awful recently. Just a few months ago, they were boasting one of the best away records in the country, but its all gone wrong on the road since then. They beat Chesterfield at Gigg Lane last time out, but only by a single goal and the Spirerites are dreadfully out of form themselves. Bury have conceded 15 goals on the road this season and eight of those have been in their last four matches away from home. Phil Brown's teams are generally very solid and his Southend side have only conceded nine at home all season. It might be a happy Friday night at Roots Hall,

Morton v Raith Rovers – Morton Draw No Bet

There's action in the Scottish Championship on Friday night and it was a sensational result for Morton at the weekend as they held Rangers to a 2-2 draw at Ibrox and were close to taking all three points away with them. That will surely give them the confidence to go and win here. They've only lost once at home all season and that was in the previous encounter with the aforementioned Rangers. Their only other defeats (3) have been away from home and they all came in October! Their last home match with Hibs was postponed and they will hoping they can get back to winning ways here. They've picked up 14 points from their last six games which is a terrific return and have beaten Livingston, Alloa and Queen of the South as part of that run here, Raith Rovers haven't won any of their last three away matches and have won just twice away from all season – they were against a very poor Alloa Athletic & St Mirren who have also been struggling. Morton should be able to take something from this.

Elche v Cordoba – Cordoba Draw No Bet

Another one for the Draw No Bet market, this time from Spain. it's from the Segunda division as two former La Liga teams meet and face one another in Elche. In their last eight matches, Cordoba have picked up five more points than their oppoents. They have picked up eight points from their last five matches and have won their last three consecutive games in the league. They've only lost three times away from home, four times all season. Their recent defeats were to Albacete & Alaves, the latter have the best form in the league currently. Elche have only scored 16 goals in 17 matches and it appears that finding the net is a problem for them. They've only scored four times in their last eight games and just once in their last three outings. Cordoba should take advantage of their hosts lack of prowess in front of goal.
