Saturday’s Accumulator Tips:

Blackpool vs Sheffield Wednesday: Sheffield Wednesday win.

Blackpool have won just four games all season, they’re nine points from safety and must be wishing for this season to be over. Sheffield Wednesday are comfortably midtable and that’s where they’ll remain for the rest of the season. The Owls are better away from home than they are at home, winning seven games on the road and just four at home, they should continue picking points up away from home this weekend.

Millwall vs Norwich: Norwich win.

Norwich lost to Wigan midweek, ending a six game winning streak that has propelled them back into the playoffs and into contention for automatic promotion. Millwall are second bottom, level on points with Wigan, and need to start putting some results together if they are to survive. That said, they’ve lost their last three and are winless in five. Back Norwich to bounce back from their midweek disappointment with a win.

Peterborough vs Leyton Orient: Peterborough win.

Both these sides were fancied for promotion at the start of the season, Leyton Orient are currently in the relegation places and Peterborough just outside the playoffs, it’s been a season to forget for both these sides really. Peterborough have won their last two and look to have found their feet having parted company with Darren Ferguson. Leyton Orient are good on the road but I think Posh have the momentum and are looking to finish the season in a big way.

Hartlepool vs Burton: Burton win.

Burton are second in League 2 and level on goal difference with top side Shrewsbury. Hartlepool are bottom of the table and seven points from safety. Both these sides will be desperate for three points but for very different reasons. Burton have lost their last two and this is a perfect opportunity for them to bounce back with a win.

Accrington Stanley vs Portsmouth: Accrington Stanley win.

Both these sides are comfortably midtable and are separated by just a point in the league. Neither of them are in particularly good form and so I think home advantage might settle this one. Portsmouth aren’t great on the road winning just twice and drawing seven times. Accrington Stanley have won eight of their seventeen home games and they should add to that total this weekend.
