Cardiff v Burnley – Both Teams to Score? No

Cardiff either keep a clean sheet or they failed to score. That's the sort of team they've become under Russell Slade They are very tight at the back, they don't let many goals past and they might frustrate Burnley here. Derby put 2 past the Bluebirds last weekend and this is the secone consecutive tricky match they face. Burnley are in good form, a 1-1 draw with Brighton last weekend was not to be sniffed at. They've kept  clean sheets in theirn last two away matches which were at Wolves and Blackburn and they might do the same here. The home side may be hard to get past, but they are a little light in attack. They've failed to score in five of their last seven matches in the Championship and with Burnley having a decent defence, they may make it six in eight. Burnley have scored just seven goals away from home but have only conceded six! This one may see little goalmouth action.

Blackpool v Fleetwood – Fleetwood win

A local derby and the 1st time they've faced one another in the league, unsuprsingly, It's not been a good few weeks for Blackpool, after an upturn in form, they've lost their last seven games and not scored in 6 of them. A limp 1-0 defeat against Southend was followed by a 2-0 loss to Port Vale. That was a better performance from Neil McDonald's men but they are facing a somewhat rejuvinated Fleetwood side, who are improving all the time under manager Steven Pressley, They put in their 'best performance of the season' to beat in-form Millwall in midweek and that followed  a 5-1 thumping of Swindon. With Blackpool not being able to find the net, it's hard to make a case to back them. They haven't been able to keep any clean sheets along the way, conceding four to Bury, two to Port Vale and four to Wigan in the cup. Fleetwood's loan players have really pepped them up and they should have too much for their local rivals here and it should be a happy trip home on the tram!

Shrewsbury v Gillingham – Both Teams to Score? Yes

Shrewsbury surprised everyone in midweek and were responsible for coupons being ripped up across the land. They put four past Sheffield United, who many people believed would simply turn up and take all three points. The Shrews face the Gills here, who are still riding high in the table. They got back to winning ways against Rochdale in midweek at the Priestfield and will be looking to win this one as well. That was their first clean sheet in six matches, but on the road, I think they might struggle to keep Shrewsbury out. I have no doubt that Gillingham will score, under Justin Edinburgh this season, they've looked superb moving forward and have only failed to score once all season. They've conceded seven goals in their last two away games though and Shrewbury will be confident after netting four times on Tuesday.

Scunthorpe v Peterborough – Over 2.5 goals

Peterborough have been the entertainers of League One this season. Since they parted with Dave Robertson and they brought in Graham Westley, it's been an attacking masterclass. Westley wasn't ever assoicated with this style of football and it's fair to say his appointment divided opinion, but the regulars at London Road can't deny they're getting value for money. All of their last 6 matches have gone over 2.5 goals and they've hit 18 goals in that time. They face Scunthorpe, who have fluctuated in and out of form all season under manager Mark Robins. They had a terrific result on Tuesday night beating Bury at Gigg Lane and they look to carry that forward into this tie. They've scored 24 goals this season with 16 of them being since the end of September and they should play ther part in an entertaining clash.

Carlisle v Crawley – Over 2.5 goals

Another long trip in League Two, this time for Crawley as they travel to Brunton Park to face Carlisle. Mark Yates' side have started scoring goals again and as a result putting a little daylight between themselves and the drop zone. They now sit 15th in the table and part of that has been because they've scored in every game since the 22nd of September. They've also only kept two clean sheets in this time, one of them at home to low scoring York. 11 of their last 12 matches have had 3 goals or more in them and this could be another exciting one against a side who won 4-2 in midweek. three of the last four of Carlisle's games have gone over 2.5 and Keith Curle has his side scoring again and even Jabo Ibehere's name re-appeared on the scoresheet after a long time away. Carlisle haven't kept a clean sheet since the 17th of October and although I'm not entirely sure who will win this one, i think there should be goals.
