Poland v Rep.Of Ireland – Both Teams to Score? Yes

It's a straight shoot out between Poland and Ireland for the final qualification spot behind Germany. Scotland have blown it so it's down to one of these two sides to clinch their spot in France 2016. Poland left it late against Scotland but Robert Lewandowski's goal made it 2-2 and leaves the Poles in with a chance. Ireland beat Germany 1-0 in a hard fought victory, which was celebrated up and down the Emerald Isle as though they'd already booked their plane tickets. They are in decent form and despite being under the cosh, they defended well, although Thomas Muller missed countless chances and they may not get so lucky here. It's hard to predict which way this one is going to go, but both sides have to go for broke and I wouldn't be surprised to see plenty of goals. 

 

Greece v Hungary – Under 2.5 goals 

It was a rare sight seeing Greece score a goal against Northern Ireland on Thursday night, although they lost 3-1, they will look to end their qualification with some dignity. They've found it difficult and they aren't the force of old. Their new manager has concentrated on his sides defending and keeping the opposition out and the Hungarians shouldn't pose a huge amount of problems. They beat the Faroe Islands after going 1 down on Thursday, but they had to work for it. These two sides drew 0-0 when they met in Budapest earlier in the campaign and it might end up the same again here. 

 

Serbia v Portugal – Portugal to win by 1 goal

Portugal are already qualified and Serbia won't be playing in France next summer. It's all sorted for these two so it's a dead rubber in Belgrade. With the pressure off, it may be a game played at a low tempo. Portugal beat the Danes 1-0 on Thursday and they've won their last 4 games by 1 goal. They haven't been scintillating by any stretch, but the word 'effective' definitely applies. Serbia haven't been great, they went down 2-0 to Albania on Thursday in a very heated and tetchy match, but they tend to be better at home. They don't look like emerging with the points, but they may limit the Portuguese chances and just the 1 goal might do it again. 

 

Germany v Georgia – Thomas Muller to score anytime

Germany will look to bounce back from their defeat to Ireland with aplomb. They missed countless chances at the Aviva Stadium, but they're back at home now and will want to give the home fans something to shout about. Even though they have already qualified, they are likely to field a strong side and put a few past Georgia. The Georgians conceded 4 to Poland last time they were on the road and they could ship a few here. Germany also put 3 past Poland and I think Thomas Muller may bag at least one here, he scored 1 when these teams met and Germany triumphed 2-0. 

 

Gibraltar v Scotland – Steven Fletcher to score anytime 

There will be a fair few goals flying in against Gibraltar once more and it's hard to find real value in the match. Steven Fletcher scored a hat-trick when these teams met North of the English border and he looks ripe to score again. It won't be 7 this time around, but he is likely to get plenty of opportunities against this defence. He may only have scored 2 goals for Sunderland this season, but he has 4 in this qualifying campaign and he can add to that here in Estadio Algarve.
