Tuesday’s Horse Racing Tips

As we move into Tuesday there is plenty more horse racing action today with afternoon cards at Brighton and Chepstow, plus evening action from Fontwell and Newbury.

Horse racing tipping expert, Andy Newton, gives you his free horse racing tips and best bets this Tuesday (25th Aug) across today’s fixtures.

Today’s Horse Racing Tips

Brighton Racing Tips –

3.45 – Brighton – The William Haggas team are in decent order, so with a few non-runner his TADPOLE is the order of the day to swim through the Brighton rain. The horse was a fair third last time out but should find this a bit easier and also enjoy the step up in trip.

BET NOW – TADPOLE (11/10 with William Hill)

5.15 – Brighton – We’ll take a chance on the David Simcock-trained MEDICEAN MELODY here. The horse flopped last time here but the softer ground and the drop in trip are big pluses. She’s won at the course before so we know she handles this tricky track, while the yard also do well here.

Chepstow Racing Tips –

2.00 – Chepstow –. Not the best of races but we’ll take a chance on the Patrick Chamings-trained UNCLE RUFUS. The horse is well-bred and with a lot of the others looking exposed then he’s worth chancing with Davif Probert an eye-catching jockey booking too. The yard have a 33% record with their runners here. Richard Hannon’s runner – Reflation looks the obvious danger.

2.30 – Chepstow – Not much to go on here but some good stables represented and Rosamaris looks the one to beat. However, the Prescott team do well here (40%) and also like having 2 year-old winners at the track – they run MISS MARINA BAY. The yard are also going great guns at present and this fillies debut fifth was a pleasing effort.

Fontwell Racing Tips –

5.50 – Fontwell – A trappy little race with just 4 runners now that can hopefully go to the Phillip Hobbs-trained DRY O'PARTY. The horse has some fair bumper form and looks to have found a good opportunity to get off the mark with Richard Johnson a plus in the saddle.

BET NOW – DRY O' PARTY (5/4 with Skybet)

6.50 – Fontwell – The Gary Moore team are going great guns at the moment and at the last Fontwell meeting they fired in a treble, of which this horse was one of those winners. They run ROYAL BATTALION here and on these terms looks to have a great chance of following up that success off just 6lbs higher.

Newbury Racing Tips –

4.40 – Newbury – Another 2 year-old race here so the market will be a good guide. Not a lot to go on, but the Luca Cumani team often do well at the track so their AL KHAFJI looks interesting. He improved last time to be third after a debut 7^th of 13. Frankie rides and with the expected step forward over this furlong longer trip is taken to get off the mark. Any money for Ed Dunlop’s Opposition, who do well with their 2 year-olds here, should be noted too.

6.40 – Newbury – Quite a competitive race here, but on these terms William Haggas’ JUNCART stands out. The yard are in scintillating form and this represents a drop in grade. The form of his last run has since been franked with the winner landing the Great St Wilfrid on his next start.
