Fulham will be craving three points on Sunday, especially with their Christmas calendar of games producing a festival of difficult match ups including in form Everton and Manchester City. Aston Villa could take three points here, if Benteke comes back from the bench, the Belgium international will be edging for a goal, since he has been goalless for three months now. The Villains may also be sharing another smile, as loan striker for Fulham, Darren Bent, is unable to play since he is facing his parent club. However, Fulham could counter this with the news from Lambert’s men struggling in the defensive area with injuries.

Fulham have only won once this season in front of their home fans, but unfortunately for Fulham, Aston Villa produce a more comfortable display away from Home. A match that should provide us with a Christmas cracker, but could the Premier League be reading the joke about Fulham after ninety minutes if Rene Meulensteen cannot take the victory.
