Add into the mix the excellent form of the Mark Johnston team (three of the first four home in the opener yesterday) and she looks un-opposable.

I am quite wary of the chances of Tupi here but could not fail but be impressed by HIGHLAND REEL (11/10 Betfred) at Galway when he pulled effortlessly clear of some decent looking sorts with the third beating his highly regarded stablemate John F Kennedy at Leopardstown next time out and the fourth also winning since. As expected for the O’Brien yard he holds all the top juvenile autumn entries, and with more improvement virtually guaranteed, it will take something special to beat him here.

Since Richard Hannon Junior took over from his father I have noticed a tendency for the juveniles to need their first run a little more than was historically the case and I am hoping to see a bundle of improvement from SHAHAH (13/8 Betfred). This son of Motivator put in a promising effort when runner-up to Fruity at Doncaster first time out. Easy to back that day and sent off at 8/1, he had clearly failed to show too much sparkle at home on the gallops, but with that run under his belt all things are possible this afternoon in an interesting looking maiden.
