Golf Betting Tips & Preview- Memorial Tournament 2014: The golf world felt a bit more normal last week as Adam Scott and Rory McIlroy both picked up victories. Rory’s win was quite impressive considering his personal life at the moment and Scott, with all the pressures of being the world #1, silenced any critics with a playoff victory over PGA Championship winner Jason Dufner.

This week the TOUR heads to Jack’s place, Muirfield Village. Muirfield Village Golf Club was founded and designed by Jack Nicklaus in 1974.  The Memorial has been held here since ‘74 but there has also been a Ryder Cup, Presidents Cup, and Solheim Cup held here as well. Annual favorite and 5x winner Tiger will not be in the field this week and should open up some opportunities for us.

At just over 7300 yards and a par 72, Muirfield brings out the best in the game year in and year out.. The course isn’t extremely penal off the tee so bombers still have a chance. The greens however, are pretty small so players will not only need to hit a lot of them, but make pars when they don’t.. The list of winners shows that it takes some serious game to win here and also a bit of experience. My research shows that older golfers (30+) tend to do pretty well here compared to their younger colleagues.
