Horse racing betting tips for a Lucky 15 tip covering Friday’s racing at Newmarket.

2.25pm Newmarket

We start with a risky bet in AIR OF MYSTERY (18/1 Coral) but I have to add that Marcus Tregoning is well known for leaving plenty to work on with his juveniles however this filly bolted up at Bath first time out by four lengths. Add in the improvement expected and she must be an above average filly though, as with all selections today, the soft ground is very much an unknown quantity.

3.25pm Newmarket

The Hannon yard are very sweet on the chances of MARSH HAWK (10/3 William Hill), a filly who has won two out of her three racecourse appearances to date. After her impressive performances at Newmarket and Newbury she rates as my best bet of the day and the soft going is just what the doctor ordered.

4.00pm Newmarket

Another Hannon representative in the form of ESTIDHKAAR (10/11 bet365) makes-up the third leg of our Lucky 15 tip. This colt rates as one of the best juveniles in the country after three wins on the bounce, improving race by race. He doesn’t necessarily look as if he will make a fantastic three-year-old to my eye so this could be his season and he ought to take the Dewhurst if in the same sort of form.

5.10pm Newmarket

Another risky bet but one that is possibly worth it. BERKSHIRE (14/1 bet365) was one of the best two-year-olds last season but thanks to various problems he has only run once at Newbury before missing all the Classics. This contest represents a drop in class compared to his expected capabilities and, if Paul Cole has him fit enough, he is easily the best horse in this contest.
