Saturday’s horse racing value betting tips from both Beverley and Sandown.
Despite entering both September and the back-end of the flat season, we still have plenty of good quality, high class racing which this Saturday comes from Beverley and Sandown Park.
The Beverley Bullet is one of the most competitive sprints in the racing calendar and I'm willing to give KINGSGATE NATIVE (5/1 Betfred) one more chance. At the grand old age of nine, Robert Cowell’s stable-star still continues to impress having placed twice this season. Despite disappointing last time out, he failed to find the necessary luck in running and should perform better in this smaller fields.
Pearl Secret has been off the track since his run at Royal Ascot and looks a big danger as its likely that connections have been targeting this race since then.
Moving on to the Solario Stakes and we have a solid 2yo race won 12 months ago by this year’s 2,000 Guineas runner-up Kingman.
At the prices, I like the look of PALLISTER (8/1 William Hill) to give a bold show and finish within the placings. He's been in solid form all season having won twice and finishing a close second. Last time out he stepped up to Group company and found a few class horses including Highland Reel too good. Despite this, I expect the selection to thrive back down in class on a less undulating track.
Aktabanty looks the main danger in his race finishing second in the Superlative Stakes and his form sets the standard.
