Man City v Juventus betting tips for the first of the two Champions League clashes between the sides in Group D and our tipsters have found the best bets for the match

These two couldn't have had more contrasting starts with City winning all 5 of their opening games and Juventus toiling to their first point of the season against Chievo on Saturday

Man City v Juventus Betting Tips:

The injury to Sergio Aguero at the weekend is a huge blow for Manuel Pelligrini, but he has the luxury of squad depth and can bring any one of a number of players in to replace the stricken Argentinian.

Kevin De Bruyne made his debut on Saturday and he may get another run out here along with the return of Raheem Sterling who was left out against Palace with a slight thigh injury.

Juventus will miss Claudio Marchisio as he was ruled out for a couple of weeks and they already have Sami Khedeira missing from action. A mixture of injuries for both sides going into this.

Juventus surprised many people reaching the final of the competition last year and they reached it with a mixture of team spirit, dogged defending and exceptional counter attacking. Pirlo and Tevez were part of the team which got them to that position and they have both left for pastures new.

I fancy the momentum which has seen Man City win all 5 Premier League games so far to carry on here. They are at the Etihad and with the home fans behind them, they should get the job done. They have shown they can dig in deep and never settle for a point. They will play right to the final whistle and I fancy their movement to cause problems for Juventus. David Silva in particular if he starts will cause no end of problems for the Italian Champions.

The first of my Man City v Juventus betting tips is Man City win –  It can be backed at 4/5 with Skybet

It looks like summer recruit Raheem Sterling will shake off an injury and start against last year's finalists. This will be the hardest test for Man City, but I think with a bit of pace and flair, they can unlock Juventus defence who have conceded 4 goals in their opening 3 games. Sterling is the man who can turn on a sixpence and finsd space to provide the ammunition, but he also likes to head for goal himself and I think he will get at least a couple of opportunities here.

The second of my Man City v Juventus betting tips is Raheem Sterling to score anytime – It can be backed at 3/1 with 888 Sport

One of the incredible stats about Man City's fledgling season is that they are yet to concede in their first 5 games, which is impressive considering they've faced Chelsea, Everton and more recently a much improved Crystal Palace. Vincent Kompany is doing a tremendous job alongside the once derided Mangala and I fancy them to keep Juventus at bay here.

Juventus have only scored twice this season in their first 3 games and one of those was in the last minute and don't look the potent force of old. With their poor form in the league so far, they will be hoping not to lose this, but I can't see them getting past the City defence.

The third of my Man City v Juventus betting tips is Man City to win to nil. It can be backed at 19/10 with Boyle Sports
