All eyes will be set on the Manchester derby in this round of mid-week fixtures, where for the first time in years the game means more to City in relation to the title race than United and we have free football betting tips.

United though will be wanting to inflict some damage to their neighbours title hopes without being in the race themselves. There will be a few changes to the United team who took 3 points at West Ham, Vidic likely to replace Michael Carrick at centre-back, with the latter sliding in to midfield to replace Darren Fletcher who is unlikely to be risked against the power of Yaya Toure. I still personally think City will win. United’s defence has looked very unsure when up against a good attacking side which we all know Pellegrini has at his disposal. Negredo hasn’t scored in his last 8 appearances, and Dzeko hadn’t scored in 17 before his late goal against Hull.

I think Dzeko will start ahead of Negredo, with Toure, Nasri & Silva the three behind the Bosnian, Garcia filling in next to Fernandinho in the middle. Despite their 5-0 win on Saturday, City haven’t been their free-flowing self going forward, and I doubt there will be a hatful of goals in the game, therefore I’m leaning towards City to win and under 2.5 goals.
