Midlands National Stats and Trends: 19th March – Staged at Uttoxeter racecourse the Betfred Midlands Grand National is run over 4m1f. First run back in 1969 the gruelling contest has been won by the David Pipe stable in four of the last five seasons, while the last horse to win the race aged in double-figures was Lucky Lane in 1995.
