As we start a new week there is plenty more horse racing action today with afternoon cards at Kempton and Thirsk, while Chelmsford and Windsor provide the evening cards.

Today’s Horse Racing Tips

Kempton Racing Tips –

2.55 – Kempton – May Queen has done little wrong recently, but Godolphin’s KHUSOOSY (Bet here at 15/8 with William Hill) catches the eye. Yes, the horse has not been out for 291 days but Paul Hanagan is an interesting jockey booking and h was an impressive winner when last seen winning here at the track last October.

3.25 – Kempton – The boys in blue of Godolphin look to have another leading chance here – this time with VALKO (Bet here at 7/2 with 888Sport). The horse heads here as one of the most experienced in the field (3 runs) and his last two seconds were solid efforts. William Buick is a plus in the saddle and on breeding should be suited by this first run on the AW surface.

Thirsk Racing Tips –

2.10 – Thirsk – We’ll take a chance on the unraced ALPINE DREAM (Bet here at 5/2 with Coral) here. William Haggas’ 2 year-old should be ready to go well at the first time of asking and the yard also boast an impressive 27% record here at the track. Richard Fahey’s Winter Hey Lane is another to note in the betting with that yard normally doing well in these races.

4.40 – Thirsk – Richard Fahey’s unexposed EUXTON (Bet here at 7/2 with Bet365) is the call here. This 3 year-old has only had four career runs so there should be a lot more to come, while the step up to 7f looks sure to suit.

Chelmsford Racing Tips –

7.25 – Chelmsford – MAFTOOL (Bet here at 11/4 with Paddy Power) is the highest-rated runner in the field and so on these terms should be a leading player here. The horse has been running in Group and Listed races recently so will find this company a lot more to his liking.

7.55 – Chelmsford – ATALAN (Bet here at 5/4 with Skybet) won well here three races back and wasn’t disgraced into second last time here behind the improver – Duke Street. Another step forward is needed by the Hughie Morrison yard love to have winners here and this looks like being another.

Windsor Racing Tips –

6.35 – Windsor – Wheat Sheaf will be popular, but we’ll take that horse on with FREE ONE (Bet here at 7/2 with Betfair). Jeremy Noseda has a decent 23% record at the moment and his horses are going well at the moment too, while the yard have also won his race twice in the past three seasons.

7.05 – Windsor – Henry Candy won this race in 2014 so his Postbag is feared but we were impressed with the way BELLA LULU (Bet here at 2/1 with Ladbrokes) won her maiden last time out and there should be more to come from this Roger Varian-trained 3 year-old.
