Newcastle v West Ham Betting Tips | Premier League Predictions

Newcastle v West Ham betting tips and predictions for this weekend’s Premier League football with free tips.

Sam Allardyce takes charge of West Ham for what is likely to be his last game in charge of the club, and it has all the makings of a classic.

Newcastle v West Ham Predictions – 24th May 2015.

Should he taste victory over Newcastle, and Hull manage a victory over Man United in their final game, Allardyce will have consigned his former club, and the Geordie fans who constantly called for his departure when he managed The Toon, to Championship football next season. The West Ham boss issued some fighting words when asked about the possibility of relegating Mike Ashley, stating “You can’t show sympathy for anybody, because nobody shows any sympathy for you.” This match bodes for an epic battle.

Newcastle are in terrible form and have taken just one point from a possible 30, conceding 21 goals from these 10 games. They showed a little bit of fight in their 1-1 draw at home to West Brom two weeks ago, but followed this up with a dismal 2-1 defeat to an already relegated QPR side. If I was a Geordie fan, I would be worried. If Newcastle get relegated, they would fully deserve it. They have lacked character, and they look a shambles defensively.

Although Hull face Man United in their game, United are already guaranteed fourth spot and will no doubt throw some kids into the game which could give Steve Bruce’s men an extra advantage in their quest to take all three points.

West Ham have only gained eight points from their last 10 games, but they guaranteed their own safety months ago after a blistering start to the campaign. Despite their poor form of late, the Hammers have all the quality needed to put Newcastle to the sword and make it an extremely nervous 90 minutes for the Toon Army.  I expect Sam Allardyce to send his team out to do his dirty work for him. In the words of Kevin Keegan, Allardyce would ‘Love it’ if he sent Mike Ashley into the Championship.

I have seen nothing about Newcastle to suggest they will take anything from this match for my West Ham v Newcastle betting tips. Their players lack belief, and most of all, they have no clear leaders. They are disorganised and hopeless in defence. John Carver has been openly critical of his player’s attitude and I think this will do them no favours. Allardyce’s team will be organised as always, and they always have a spark in attack. Big Sam should also have Kevin Nolan to call upon for the game as he has returned from injury.

I can fully see West Ham winning this game for my first Newcastle v West Ham prediction, odds of 19/5 can be found with Bet Victor.

However, Newcastle manager John Carver, the self-professed ‘best coach in the league’ has been in fighting mood lately, telling the players to sit out the game if they ‘didn’t fancy it’ and he said he “was ready for a fight and a challenge.” He certainly has a challenge trying to get his players to perform at even 50% their capability it seems. Newcastle have both scored and conceded in 4 out of their last 5 games and I do and I would definitely add this one to a BTTS accumulator.

The second Newcastle v West Ham betting tip is for both teams to score, odds of 7/10 can be found with Ladbrokes.

Our tipsters’ last football betting tip for this match is dependent on the Hull result. I can fully see Steve Bruce leading his Hull side to victory over a United team that will, most likely, be made up of kids and non-regulars, and which has already guaranteed fourth place. Out of Newcastle and Hull, I feel that the Magpies deserve to get relegated more. You can get odds of 5/1 with Bet365 for this to happen.
