The final day of Royal Ascot is upon us, the end of another five days of quality racing.  With many bookmakers reeling from the beating they’ve taken over the meeting, here are the all important tips to hopefully boost your punting pockets.

2.30pm Chesham Stakes

Wesley Ward fields a pair here in Cordero and Crown The Kitten.  Both are entitled to respect but they may find a couple too strong.  Dick Whittington fairly bolted up last weekend at Navan on his first start on a quick surface.  That's the best form on offer and he deserves to head the market.

TOSCANINI (6/1 SkyBet) has been unlucky to have come up against two really smart sorts on his two racecourse visits so far.  This looks a little easier and from the rail draw he has a lot in his favour.  Juventas still looked green when she hit the front at Newmarket when victorious last month.  She won plenty comfortably despite that and looks a solid E/W option.

Betting Tip – TOSCANINI (WIN) (6/1 SkyBet)

3.05pm Duke Of Edinburgh Stakes

A couple of very progressive types at the top of the weights are of interest here.  The quicker ground is a question mark for Arab Spring but he has been very progressive winning three of his four career starts to date.  He travels really well which will be a big asset in a race likely to be a good test.

However, its hard not to have been impressed by GROUNDBREAKING (12/1 William Hill) at Newmarket when slamming the field by seven lengths and more.  He has gone up 14lbs for that victory but an extra stone that day certainly wouldn't have stopped him.

Betting Tip – GROUNDBREAKING (WIN) (12/1 William Hill)

3.45pm Hardwicke Stakes

Dandino has had a winter off from globe trotting but has conditions in his favour here with quick ground, his preferred underfoot surface, and he has a solid record fresh.

Hillstar won at this meeting last year and should find this easier than the Group 1's he has contested since but the vote goes to his stablemate TELESCOPE (11/4 Betfred).  The return to a quicker surface is exactly what he is looking for having got a little bogged down in soft ground on his last two starts.

Betting Tip – TELESCOPE (WIN)(NAP) (11/4 Betfred)

4.25pm Diamond Jubilee Stakes

Aljamaaheer sports first time headgear having run well on his return to sprinting when last seen.  He was held up a long way back that day but that could have been due to laziness hence the blinkers.  Eddie Lynam looks to complete a Group 1 sprint double courtesy of Slade Power who certainly has the form credentials, although his better efforts have come on slower ground.

DUE DILIGENCE (8/1 Coral) seems to have strengthened up well over the winter and the return to sprinting had already reaped benefits.  He ran the field into the ground at Navan just under three weeks ago and can land a blow her.

Betting Tip – DUE DILIGENCE (WIN) (8/1 Coral)

5.00pm Wokingham Stakes

A typically wide open renewal of the Wokingham with any number in with chances.  York Glory won the race last year off a 9lb lower mark.  He traveled beautifully on his Haydock return but found little off the bridle.

ROCKY GROUND (12/1 Betfred) proved last time that he stays six furlongs as well as five which will open more avenues for him.  He goes well on quick ground and, despite being higher in the weights, is progressing along the right lines.

Towards the bottom of the weights, Seeking Magic is in the form of his life, finishing an excellent second at Epsom in the Dash last time out over an inadequate five furlongs.

Betting Tip – ROCKY GROUND (E/W) (12/1 Betfred)

5.35pm Queen Alexandra Stakes

The longest race in the flat calendar closes the meeting.  Mubaraza was sent off favourite in the Chester Cup last time when just staying on one paced.  The step up in trip is interesting but he has a few pounds to find.

TIGER CLIFF (7/2 bet365) looks the one to beat at the weights and, even though he was beaten by Whiplash Willie last time out, the soft ground favoured the latter there.  Tiger Cliff goes very well on quick ground and, having finished runner up in the Ascot Stakes at this meeting last year over a quarter mile shorter, he has less stamina worries than a lot of his rivals.

Betting Tip – TIGER CLIFF (WIN) (7/2 bet365)
