2.05 Goodwood

Stepping Out looks a progressive three-year-old for Tom Dascombe, winning recently at Pontefract as well as over C&D. TATLISU (7/1 Coral) has also been on the upgrade this season, taking the notable scalp of Muthmir at Newcastle before being turned over by one of the gambles of the season at Hamilton in the form of Blaine.

2.20 Newmarket

It's interesting to see Enraptured drop back in trip having appeared not to stay in a better race at Newbury and she should go close. RED PIKE (8/1 bet365) gets the vote in a trappy contest having narrowly lost out in a similar race last time, a straighter course close home can see him prevail.

2.40 Goodwood

The hood should help KINGS FETE (5/2 SkyBet) settle better in the race, a dangerous proposition considering the form he had already shown when running too free. It was a good field he beat at York three weeks ago and can follow up. The main danger may come from the Luca Cumami trained Second Step who showed notable improvement stepped-up to this trip last time.

2.55 Newmarket

ENLACE (4/1 bet365) made a promising start to her career when an easy winner of a Hamilton maiden. The third has won since and a mark of 80 looks to be a very fair starting point with plenty of improvement likely. Mademoiselle Bond is one of the more exposed runners but a stiffer six furlongs should suit her and she can go well at a price.

3.15 Goodwood

Plenty with points to prove here, notably Narniyn and Sultanina on the ground and Venus De Milo over a sharp mile and a quarter. A speculative chance therefore is taken on AMAZING MARIA (7/1 William Hill) to show her Oaks running was all wrong back on a track she was victorious twice on as a juvenile.

3.50 Goodwood

Muthmir has headed the market since his impressive York win last weekend but he didn't look to handle the undulations at Newmarket last year which raises doubts. SEEKING MAGIC (16/1 Ladbrokes) wouldn’t be the best handicapped but he saved his best for switchback tracks and should go well at a big price. On the other flank BOOMERANG BOB (25/1 SkyBet) looked to be running back into form in the Wokingham so from 2lbs higher must have a shout.
