2.40 Doncaster

The first leg of today’s accumulator tip comes in the third race of the day the Park Hill Stakes and ARABIAN COMET (5/1 William Hill) is taken to improve once again and finally bag a big contest.  This Dubawi filly has kept improving with two second place finishes in Group 3 and Listed company.  She looks a progressive sort who, with her three-year-old allowance, should be tough to beat.  Venus De Milo rates a big danger if returning to form and Seal Of Approval should also run a big race after falling when well fancied last year.

3.15 Doncaster

Moving on to the Wetherby’s Hamilton Insurance 300,000 2YO Stakes and, despite 22 runners lining up, THE GREAT WAR (8/1 Coral) should be more than capable of claiming this prize.  Aidan O’Brien won this a few years back and the War Front colt should be able to improve on recent outings. He’s clear on the official ratings and it looks like the Coolmore operation have sent him over to plunder this valuable prize.  Lexington Times is interesting and shows good form whilst Heartbreak Hero has been improving as well.

3.45 Doncaster

This race looks an intriguing puzzle on paper but LONG CROSS (4/1 Coral) has managed to get in off a very light weight and should be able to take advantage.  The form looks very good for this son of Cape Cross who won a maiden race well (the first two pulled some 11 lengths clear of the field) with the runner-up going on to record a 13 length maiden win of his own.  Long Cross looks clearly better than this company and should be able to make hay off a very light weight.  Despite that, the likes of Sea Shanty and Elhaame should put up a worthy challenge for the places.
