How long can Chelsea continue so bad? That is the question everyone, punters especially, is asking. For whatever reason Chelsea have severely regressed this season. From Champions last time round the Londoners are now in a position where they will struggle to make the top four.

Mourinho is even feeling the pressure. His usual tactics and strategies don't seem to be working. Even blaming the officials and talking of conspiracies isn't galvanising his players it is merely getting Mourinho a stadium ban. As for the actual players Chelsea have almost a full strength team to choose from the only player missing is long term absentee Courtois.

How about Stoke then? After a disappointing start to the season that saw them fail to win in the Premier League until the seventh game they have been on a decent run of late. Knocking Chelsea out of the League Cup on penalties, beating Villa but drawing to Newcastle away.

At some point Chelsea should start being, well Chelsea again at the moment though they cannot be backed at odds of 11/10 especially away from home. The downside to Chelsea's form is that Stoke's price has been clipped in a bit coming in at 3/1. 3/1 is still good odds though and they are odds I'm taking in a heartbeat. Even if it was on penalties Stoke have already beaten Chelsea once this season and this time they are playing at home. Stoke are a great price here.

I was high on Stoke at the start of the season and I continue to be high on them now. They have invested wisely in the transfer market and as the season continues they will move at least into the top 10. The lessened physicality might mean Stoke struggle more against clubs like Watford and West Brom but having players like Shaqiri, Bojan and Arnautovic in an attacking midfield trio should give Stoke a better chance against the bigger clubs. With this in mind I'm tipping Stoke to be winning both at half time and full time.
