Roma to beat Atlanta 17/20:

Last time out in the Serie A, Roma were knocked off top spot after failing to take control against Cagliari at home, whom only sit in 14th position. As this opportunity was missed, Juventus took advantage of it and grabbed three points away to Livorno. On Sunday, Roma will hope to put the pressure on the new league leaders, Juventus, with a trip to Atalanta. This may be of some pleasure and relief if Roma gain something out of this match, because their opponents, Atalanta have failed to kick start any commanding presence in the Serie A so far this season. The team from Bergarmo are currently in 10th position, but in their last five games, only four points have been gained. The blue and black stripes of the Serie A faced another specie of stripes in their last encounter away to newly promoted side, Sassualo, the green and black stripes defeated Atalanta 2-0. Roma are unbeaten in five, three of them being draws, so a win is a must to start the siege for the 2013/14 Scudetto title.

Juventus to beat Udinese 2/7:

The Juventus stadium has recently witnessed their team take control of the Serie A after conducting a fine win against Livorno. Now, Udinese will be their opponents and the team from Udine will find it a very difficult task indeed. Juventus have won four of their last five games and have also claimed a draw against Real Madrid at the Juventus Stadium on their UEFA Champions League voyage. Home advantage will be on the cards here for this encounter because Udinese have been doing the opposite to Juventus this season. Udinese have failed to click so far and have only gained two wins in their last five. When Udinese did play their last away match, they lost against Cantania. Juventus will be a threat in this match and Udinese could be stuck in the mud once again.

Borussia Monchengladbach to beat Freiburg 9/20:

The Stadion im BORUSSIA-PARK welcomes Freiburg in the Bundesliga on Sunday and the team from Monchengladbach is the one to pick here. Borussia Monchengladbach are currently on a four game win streak after beating Suttgart away from home with a two goal cushion. With these points in the bag, Monchengladbach will still be hungry as they edge closer to the other Borussia team, Dortmund, whom lie in 3rd position. A win here, if results go their way, could knock Dortmund off 3rd position. Freiburg will be their opponents, whom only recently, have found a winning formula, which has helped Freiburg lift away from the relegation zone. Freiburg’s away form is much better than when they play in front of their home support, recently in the UEFA Europa League, three points were gained in the Czech Republic against Slovan Liberec, however the Czech team nearly scraped a draw and produced a completely different display in the second half. If Borussia score first, this could knock Freiburg down.

Bordeaux to beat AJ Ajaccio 9/20:

The Stade Jacques Chaban- Delmas invites a team from Corsica, AC Ajaccio in this Sunday’s Ligue 1 affair. Both teams have failed to make an impression on the Ligue 1 table. However, Bordeaux seem to have discovered some ability, as they proved against Nice, grabbing three points on their recent away travels. A nice three points indeed. AC Ajaccio on the other hand, look to be plummeting further down the table, the inability to hold onto the lead, failing to score goals, has seen them slump down to 19th position. Sochaux who sit watching beneath them, last in the table, are on the same points total, but I can’t see AC Ajaccio grabbing something here. Their form hasn’t been of best; the Corsicans have only seen one point gained in their last five games. A long trip for AC to Bordeaux on Sunday and it could be an even longer trip back home after 90 minutes.

Vitesse to beat Cambuur 4/11:

Vitesse are producing an Eredivise fairy tale at the moment and the team from Arnhem must be in jubilation as the team in yellow and black are currently in 2nd position due to goal difference, compared with FC Twente. Vitesse welcome newly Eredivise arrivals, Cambuur on Sunday, whom loom over the drop zone, holding a two point gap in 14th position. Vitesse are holding a five game unbeaten run, which includes four wins, one of them being a huge away win against Ajax. Cambuur on the other hand, have gained three wins from their last five. Vitesse will want to improve their title ambitions, and Cambuur could be another doorway that holds another three points.

Sporting Lisbon to beat Pacos Ferreira 2/5:

Pacos Ferreira travel to the Estadio Jose Alvade on Sunday in hope of clinching something to revitalise their season in the Portugal Premier League. Sporting Lisbon will be hosts, whom currently sit in 2nd position, only one point off top spot that is being held by Porto at present. This is a chance for Sporting to pile on the pressure to Porto and win will certainly be on their minds, as Pacos sit second from bottom, only gaining one win in their last four league games.
