Football Accumulator Selections

Newcastle v Liverpool – Liverpool (-1) Handicap

Liverpool romped to a 6-1 victory against Southamtpon, despite only having a six shots in the match. They were incisive when they needed to be and it seems that Jurgen Klopp is finally getting his ideas across and Liverpool are in form, particularly away from home. Newcastle's defence isn't secure, they've been conceding goals left, right and centre and it's left them in a very perilous position going into December. Once they concede, the floodgates tend to open and as we saw against Man City, they struggle with pace and with Daniel Sturridge back for Liverpool and Phillipe Coutinho facing a late fitness test, they could bag a few here.

Lokeren v Kortrijk – Both Teams to Score? Yes

We got plenty of goals last night in Belgium in all but the Standard Liege match and we're expecting some more here. Along with the Eredivisie, this has to be one of the better divisions when it comes to scoring goals. Both teams have found the net in five of the last six games for Lokeren. They drew a few blanks, but they were all at the start of the season and they've been finding the net with regularity recently. They've scored in every match since October 2nd. They face Kortrijk, who have been pretty good defensively, but only at home. They haven't kept a clean sheet on the road since the 29th September and they score a few on their travels too. They've only failed to score once away from home and six of their eight games on the road have ended with both teams scoring.

Cagliari v Como – Over 2.5 goals

Off to Italian Serie B for this later kick off and we fancy goals. The home side have the best home form in the league and they've been going well here. They've been hitting goals regularly with a 3-0, 2-1, 4-1 and 2-0 win here recently. Como don't score enough goals, but they might play their part here. They have found the net in two of their last four away matches and they have scored 62% of their goals on the road. The crucial statistic is that Cagliari have had 88% of their home games go over 2.5 goals and there should be some more here. With 23 of their 30 goals here, they should enough firepower to get us above that mark and if Como get on the scoresheet, Cagliari should have enough potency to overpower them.

Mattersburg v Salzburg – Over 2.5 goals

Another one which promises goals and we're hoping it delivers. The Austrian Bundesliga has just a single fixture and it's struggling Mattersburg who host Salzburg. Mattersburg have failed to score in their last two games, but they generally ship a few. 67% of their games have featured three or more goals in them and Salzburg could feasibly fill their boots here. They've scored in each of their last four games whilst Mattersburg have conceded 17 goals here this season already. Salzburg are the highest scorers in the league with 42 goals in their 18 matches whilst it's absolutely no suprise to anyone to see Mattersburg with the weakest defence in the league
