Saturday’s teatime Premier League match comes from the Stadium of Light and is an exciting looking match. Tottenham now sit sixth after a midweek win over Fulham ended a run of four matches without a win. Sunderland sit bottom after recording just two wins in their last ten in the league.

Tottenham are favourites for this one and are a good looking price. They are 5/6 with William Hill and if anything Spurs have been better away than at home this season. They have already beaten Fulham, Villa, Cardiff and Palace on the road and I expect them to add Sunderland to that list. The Black Cats had improved at home of late but the defeat to Chelsea will be a real setback for them. They have now won just one of their last five in the Premier League and lost five of seven at home this season. Fulham, Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester United and Chelsea have all come here and taken maximum points and I expect Tottenham to add themselves to that list.

The Stadium of Light has seen a lot of goals so far this season. There have been twenty-three in just seven matches there this season in the league. There has been over 2.5 goals in five of Sunderland’s last six at home and in Tottenham’s last three. With Tottenham now seeming to score goals again, I expect goals to fly in. Over 2.5 goals is a big price for me at 21/20 with William Hill and looks a really good bet for this match.

Finally, despite thinking Spurs will pick up a win, I do expect Sunderland to grab a goal. They have scored in their last six at home now despite losing four of these. Spurs also haven’t kept a clean sheet in their last four games. This in mind, both teams to score and Tottenham to win looks a really good bet for me. This is available at 10/3 with Coral, which looks a big price for this bet.
