ATP Vienna Betting Tips

Jo Wilfred Tsonga (2.5 Coral) heads a relatively mediocre field in Vienna, so will go into the tournament as a clear favourite and will hope to collect a valuable 250 ranking points. Of the other players, only Tommy Haas (6.51 Betfair) harbours any hopes of an appearance at the season’s finale in London. For this reason alone, Tsonga and Haas would undoubtedly prove the two with the most to gain from this week. With the sense of an extra motivation, don’t be surprised to see these two top twenty players meet in the final on Sunday.

Danger men in the draw, who will be looking for a decent end to the season and thus seriously damage Tsonga and Haas’ hopes of reaching the season finale, include, the in-form and current world number seventeen, Fabio Fognini (19 Ladbrokes). Enjoying his most successful season to date, Fognini could certainly prove a more than capable winner of the event this week. Another player who enters Vienna in form is the talented Frenchman Gael Monfils (9 Coral). Currently world ranked thirty one in the world, Monfils is on his way back inside the world’s top twenty after enduring a nasty injury in 2012. He will have taken confidence from his showing in Shanghai last week, making the quarter finals, defeating Roger Federer along the way. If Monfils brings the form displayed last week, form reminiscent of him when he made himself a fixture inside the top ten a couple of seasons ago, he could well take the title in Vienna this week.
Finally Phillip Kohlschreiber (9 Ladbrokes) also represents a dangerous floater in the draw. Although very unlikely to win the event, he represents good odds of possibly an each way bet.

ATP Stockholm Betting Tips

The field is Stockholm is led by the current world number three, and already qualified for the season’s finale, David Ferrer (5 Bet Victor). However, with Ferrer not currently enjoying his best period of form, I would be tempted to look at the in-form Milos Raonic (2.9 Betfair).

Raonic represents arguably the only man in form at this week’s Stockholm Open. At this year’s ‘Asian Swing’ Raonic has finished champion and runner up in two of his last three events. He will also head to Stockholm with the added incentive on securing a spot at this season’s finale in London. With only 240 points behind ninth placed, Jo Wilfred Tsonga, Raonic will be well aware how beneficial 250 ranking points could be, come the end of the season.

Contenders such as Grigor Dimitrov (15 Bet Victor), Fernando Verdasco (26 Betfair) and Ernests Gulbis (6.5 Bet Victor) all blow hot and cold throughout the season. At the moment, especially Dimitrov, neither looks to be getting warmer any time soon as all three of them failed to make any impression at Shanghai, a surface similar to Stockholm.

Jerzy Janowicz could therefore represent the biggest danger to Raonic. He is currently world number fifteen and is enjoying a breakthrough season, this highlights being his semi-final appearance at Wimbledon. However, although the fast indoor courts in Stockholm will favour Janowicz game, he is making his first appearance since the US Open after sustaining a minor injury. For now therefore, it would be a risk to back Janowicz at (15.7 Betfair).

Stokholm Betting Tip

Raonic to win the tournament outright (2.9 Betfair)

ATP Moscow Betting Tips

The third and final event of this week’s ATP World Tour 250 series can be found in Moscow where we also have tennis betting tips, where world number ten, Richard Gasquet (2.62 Bet Victor), leads a field that is lacking any other player outside the world’s top twenty. Gasquet is making his debut in Moscow this week, evidence that Gasquet’s sole focus is of accumulating as many points as he can in order to qualify for the season’s finale in London. With world number twenty-two, Andreas Seppi (6.32 Betfair) the only other notable player in this event, Richard Gasquet represents a clear favourite and the best tennis tip to win Moscow this week at (2.62 Bet Victor). Back Gasquet now, it’ll be the easiest money you’ll make all week!
