Horse racing betting tips for a Lucky 15 on Sunday from The Curragh & Windsor.

Sunday’s racing in England comes from Leicester and Windsor but the main focus will be over the Irish Sea at The Curragh with a card culminating in the Group 1 Phoenix Stakes.

2.35 Curragh

Before the main action kick off, there is a potential Group performer in the first race at the Curragh in the shape of JOHN F KENNEDY (SP). The word on the grapevine is that this horse is one of the best down at Ballydoyle and the Galileo colt has a whole host of impressive future entries. Realistically, he should be good enough to beat this field but he’ll also need to improve on his maiden effort.

3.45 Windsor

There is an intriguing fillies’ handicap at Windsor and ARTISTIC CHARM (10/3 William Hill) could take advantage of her 3yo weight allowance. She finished second in a good class handicap last time out losing only to a now 96 rated runner and, if the trainer thought she was good enough to race in a Nell Gwyn, she should be more than good enough here. Mia San Triple will be well fancied looking for a three-timer but she struggled to claim her last two victories and others look more dangerous.

4.05 Curragh

The major race of the day at The Curragh is the Keeneland Phoenix Stakes over 6f. Capella Sansevero and The Great War looked high class at the start of their careers, but have disappointed as of late. Anthem Alexander was impressive and Beach Belle could be anything but KOOL KOMPANY (5/2 Ladbrokes) has been supplemented for this race and could well take all the beating. The Richard Hannon colt has won two Group 2’s, including one over course and distance, and could offer some value against the favourite.

4.35 Curragh

The other Group contest on the card is the Phoenix Sprint Stakes over 6f again and, if the ground comes up soft, MAAREK (13/8 Betfred) will take all the beating. The horse is a genuine Group 1 performer and should claim this if racing up to the best of his form. Rocky Ground has come over from England for this and should have a good chance as should Russian Soul.
