Today’s Horse Racing Tips for Every Channel 4 Race

Today’s horse racing betting tips for all the Channel 4 races from our team of expert horse racing tipsters on Saturday 4th April 2015.

We are now under a week away from the Grand National festival which will see top horses from Great Britain and Ireland all contesting. However, on Saturday, Channel 4 offer viewers a mix of jump and flat racing as punters look to head to Aintree with money in their pockets and we will help you out with our racing tips.

Today’s Channel 4 Racing Tips:

2.00 Haydock – Fourovakind 7/1

This looks a tricky contest however I like the look of Fourovakind. Harry Whittington's charge won impressively two starts ago at Chepstow, a track that can seriously test a horses abilities. That day, this ten-year-old romped home by 23 lengths on heavy ground and conditions before finishing third in a much better contest next time out. With conditions in favour, this son of Sir Harry Lewis should be primed to win.

2.15 Kempton – Outback Traveller 4/1

Ryan Moore and Jeremy Noseda have a good strike-rate when they team up and they look to pounce with Outback Traveller. This four-year-old has won two of his last four contests and cruised home at Ascot last time out. He's been raised 12 pounds for that effort however that penalty looks on the lenient side.

2.35 Haydock – Southfield Vic 15/2

Paul Nicholls has been renowned for winning on a Saturday this season and he saddles Southfield Vic in this contest. This six-year-old has been progressing well, winning three of his last four including an easy win at Wincanton last time out. This son of Old Vic carries top weight however Sean Bowen's five pound claim will be gold-dust in the closing stages.

2.50 Kempton – Queen Catrine 7/2

Queen Catrine raced at the top level throughout her three-year-old campaign and takes a big step down in contest. Charlie Hills' charge finished just three lengths behind J Wonder at Glorious Goodwood last term and should have too much class for the field.

3.10 Haydock – Virak 9/2

Another Paul Nicholls top weight will be the selection here as Virak takes a big step down in class. At the start of the season, this six-year-old was in line to take his place in the RSA Chase at the Cheltenham Festival. He disappointed in the Reynoldstown at Ascot however he looks by far the best horse in the race and can give Paul Nicholls and Sean Bowen a quick fire double.

3.25 Kempton – Made With Love 15/8

John Gosden has lost William Buick to Godolphin this season and will be using Frankie Detorri a lot more for this term. They combine with Made With Love who looks a solid bet. This four-year-old went close in his first two starts before winning with ease at Kempton. Back over course and distance connections must think highly of this son of Exceed and Excel should be in prime condition.

15.45 Haydock – Future Gilded 7/1

This he feature race of the day and the lightly race Future Gilded looks a sound each-way bet. Having had just three starts over rules, this six-year-old was impressive when winning t Market Rasen in soft turf, jumping fluently and quickening well in the closing stages. With conditions similar as last time out, Jamie Snowden' charge can be within the mix.
